We had the original magnetic locks (not this brand) 15+ years ago when our youngest was a toddler. While they worked great, the unlocking magnets weren’t very strong so you had to drill a fairly large hole into the inside of your cabinet door and set the lock in it. It was a ton of work, and I didn’t like that you had to damage the cabinets to install them.Now that we are childproofing for our grandbaby I was dreading having to do all of that again, so I was thrilled to discover these locks that are the “new and improved” version of what we had! I was very impressed with the strength of the magnet that unlocks easily through my 1” thick cabinet doors, and the very strong double sided tape has been wonderful. It was so nice not to have to screw in all of the pieces, and since it is a very renter friendly design we also plan to gift a set to our son and daughter-in-law for the home they are moving into soon.But hands down my favorite thing about these is the installation cradle. It makes placement and installation so quick and easy! I was able to install all that I needed in my kitchen and dining room during my lunch hour and everything was ready to go for the next day when our grandbaby came to visit. As an added bonus, they are also keeping our very curious cat out of the cupboards too.Very pleased with this product and definitely will buy again!

Love our new Magnetic Baby Proofing lock system. We have a macaw parrot who likes to open our cabinets and throw items out of them. This product has reduced so many messes since installation! Can't recommend enough! Great product and easy to install. You can either stick them to cabinets or screw them in. They provide both and give extras! They are discreet and function well. Not hard to get used to using, either. Thank you, thank you!

Relatively easy install, lot of magnets, function through birch wood cabinets with no issues. Screw on not tape so they wont come off by accident. have a safety that once your kid is old enough they unlock. Just dont lose the magnets on random metal dishes……..

These are amazing! They are so easy to install, invisible from the outside (unless you choose to use the optional placement marker stickers), and not so easily defeated by determined toddlers. (I guess they could be used to flummox nosy guests also.) They also have the wonderful option of being turned "off" by flipping a switch. They were delivered yesterday when the mail came, and within a few minutes, I had them installed in several rooms.

What you see is what you get! For being plastic they hold up very well. The sticky foam on them is pretty decent. It comes with so many magnet keys that they'll last a lifetime. It comes with extra Sticky stuff, screw holes if they fail, AND alcohol wipes to clean surfaces before you go sticking them on. (One pad failed only because I didn't clean first, as expected) They keep my 2 year old from opening cabinets and drawers, even with her full body weight pulling on the handles.

They are alright, they won’t work for all cabinet doors. In the kitchen they are great, I like the feature of being able to leave them unlocked as I’m cleaning or continuously going into the same spot it’s makes it easier. But I have had issues with other furniture with cabinet doors, like my TV stand. They just don’t hold as well and after so long fall off? But places like the bathroom and kitchen these are great.

Bought these to use on the magnetic locks and they work just as good as the original brand. Using them is easy, and they are lighter in weight in compared to the originally magnetic locks keys.
