We purchased 2 of these for a total of 5 shelves. 2 of them were damaged due to inadequate packaging at the manufacturer. I ended up using it anyway because it was a high shelf where the damage could be somewhat concealed from view. The mounting hardware is inadequate to support any weight placed upon the shelves. One shelf fell off the wall and shattered the items we placed on it. I then had to go to the hardware store to purchase toggle bolts that are strong enough to hold the shelves on the wall. To be clear, we had less than 3 pounds of weight on these shelves. I ultimately made these shelves work, but it was a lot of trouble to make that happen.

We had to return these shelves. The screws provided were not long enough and we even tried some other screws we had at home, and couldn’t get the anchors and screws to match up right with the metal mounting brackets. We got the brackets up, but they were very unstable, and would not hold up the shelves. You could tap on the shelves lightly and they’d start slipping off the brackets and the brackets would then start coming off the wall. I don’t know if we just got bad parts or what, but these did not work correctly.

Simple enough to install, but the base was not sturdy. Not sure if it’s because of poor quality anchors, or if the holes in the shelf are too big for the little mounting bars, but it ended up all wobbly. Really disappointed, especially now that I’ve got multiple holes in my wall that need to be filled/painted.

Shelves could not be leveled (from to back) as bracket arms were welded in an upward pointed position.
