I bought this set to replace an aging set of Calphalon hard anodized cookware. Our old set did not have the non-stick coating, and I know how hard it was to clean sometimes, so I was interested in seeing what was new in that arena. I read up on the Circulon and was impressed with what I saw, (you can use metal utensils, dishwasher safe, etc.) I've been buying off Amazon for several years now, and I've never once been unhappy with their service, so when I saw an amazing deal on this set of cookware, I thought I would give it a try. We have a glass-top electric range.My first impressions were that the pots and pans were much thinner than our old set, and I noticed the stainless steel clad bottoms right away. I also thought the set looked so much nicer than our old set. Overall, happy so far. I believe the first thing we cooked were scrambled eggs, and two things came up here:1. We can use lower heat than we used to, and2. NOTHING seems to stick to these pans!VERY happy with the unscientific "scrambled eggs" test. When we washed that pan, we only had to rinse it with the sprayer to get everything to slide out of the pan, no scrubbing needed at all. In fact, these pans are so easy to clean, we don't even bother to put them in the dishwasher, EVERYTHING so far has simply wiped off. One thing I do recommend is to dry them after washing, especially if you have hard water. They spot easily, but if you dry them, they look brand new every time.Because these pots and pans look so nice, we've also resisted the urge to use metal utensils on them just in case - we still have all our nylon utensils from our old set, so we continue to use those. We were so impressed with the looks, we purchased a pot rack / light to hang them from over our kitchen island. And yes, the handles don't have holes that go all the way through (which would have been a little nicer), but they do hang on a hook just fine.After using them for a few months now, we've been very happy. In fact, we bought the larger skillet for those "one skillet" meals for our 5 person family. We continue to notice that we can use lower heat than we used to with our calphalon set, and the non-stick coating has not shown any wear whatsoever. And you only have to boil water to see that they heat very evenly - bubbles come from all over the bottom of the pan, not just certain areas. The lids fit well and being able to see through them is a huge plus, something we couldn't do with our old set. I bought this set only 3 months ago for $199. Check Amazon frequently, as the price often goes down. My husband and I moved into our first home and realized we have an induction range- I searched high and low for the best non-stick cookware for induction ranges, and this set was the best I could find in our price range.I was skeptical about the circular grooves on the bottom of the pans (they are on each piece of cookware), but found quickly that food does not get stuck there, and they are easy to cook with and clean. Since it's only my husband and I, this set is perfect. It cleans up easily and has every size you would need. I can imagine bigger families needing a larger frying pan (like a 12") which is not included. The handles never get hot, and the clear lids are great for monitoring as you're cooking (although I wish the lids had a steam hole). The pans are heavy- almost too heavy. I often find that my wrist tires when lifting these pans to pour something out, and I sometimes need to use 2 hands to hold it! Therefore, I would not recommend this set for people with joint issues in their hands. Overall, this set is holding up extremely well to daily use, and has not disappointed in any way either than some staining on the bottom. It's great to know that this cookware can be used on any type of cooking surface, which makes it a worthwhile investment.

I have a set of stainless steel pans, so I wanted a set of non-stick ones, but I really hate teflon. These are awesome! My kitchen is dark brown and very light blue, so these pans compliment that, too - though to be honest, the pans themselves are VERY dark brown, so they almost always look black, even in my well-lit kitchen. The handles are visibly brown, though. They heat up very quickly and evenly, and the non-stick surface is awesome! Nothing sticks to the insides, except around the rivets for the handles. They're easy to clean, too. I like how the set comes with a 3 quart pot, which is the size I end up using most often. I only have a few complaints: I wish the smallest pot came with a lid, I wish there was a smaller stockpot included in the set - something larger than the 3 quart but smaller than the 8 quart, since that's a pretty hefty jump in pot sizes, and the handles get hot while cooking (I have a gas stove). I'm glad I have another set of pans to supplement, but I like these so much better! I'm considering buying some additional pieces that are sold separately, but considering what I paid for this set (I got an awesome deal!), buying single pieces is very expensive.
