I was hesitant about buying a set of these because I had heard that the quality was sub-par compared to the name brand. However, I am rather pleased. The shears are very solid and the blades are sharp. Very nice quality. They fold easily and store easily. As a Paramedic, I expect products to perform well and these are fantastic.

I was trying to avoid paying $90 for raptors that I probably would lose. These came in the mail today and I was surprised at the quality and sturdiness of these. I figured I would get a practical pair of trauma shears that probably would be cheap but these are definitely a pleasant surprise. Way nicer than I expected for the price!

The shears are sharp the holster is nice. Make sure the screw is secure when the item arrives.It was very easy to fix.

These shears are very good and sturdy. The holister, however, is not as advertised. While the holister does work when the shears are completely folded, it does not hold the shears when unfolded. This holister is not designed (as advertised), to hold shears that are unfolded. If your purpose for these shears is constant daily use, where you need quick access (EMT, RN, etc), I'd look for another holister or pocket option.

They work great for half the cost as the name brand.

The media could not be loaded.  I have been an emt for around 14 years now and I have used almost every type of trauma shear you can imagine. I have seen many people with the Raptor brand shears and have wanted to get a pair for a while but just couldn't ever bring myself to spend the money on them. When I came across these leepenk ones I figured for the price I'd give it a go and see if they were even somewhat comparable. To my surprise, these things were extremely close in terms of quality and usability. Of course the expensive name brands are going to have a slightly better fit and finish but you are sure going to pay for it! I have used mine almost daily for about 1½ months now and have no complaints. If you are a medic, fire, police personnel, just go ahead and pick a set up. For the price you will not regret having them on you when you inevitably need them. If you are just a prepper or outdoors type person who hikes and camps these are great to add to your kit! Light weight and compact and pack a lot of function inside.

The scissors are definitely heavy duty. I personally did not care for them. I have smaller hands and they were very heavy and bulky to me and too difficult to use. The fact that they fold is nice but still very heavy.
