Decent price, quick ship, easy set up, easy start, blasts heat, met my goals.Tested it in my garage (with appropriate ventilation - most people can smell LP gas because of the additive just for that, but nobody can smell carbon monoxide, a by-product of burning LP gas that will kill you. Ventilate!). Tested it on a 37 F day. Two car garage with high ceiling, 90% empty space. After one hour on High, garage temp up from 37 F to 51 F, or +14. This single burner will not heat your whole garage or similar space, but all I wanted was to get it above the 50 F threshhold, so I can use paints, stains, glues, etc. in my little garage-based guitar & diddley bow shop. This thing puts out serious heat for 2-3 feet in front of the burner, hot enough to ignite some materials and it would certainly melt or damage many more. Keep a clear perimeter around this thing. I almost set my pants on fire warming to it. It seems counterproductive to ventilate an area you're trying to heat, but DO IT.Construction looks very good, quality parts, design, and manufacture. Recommendation: check packaging for damage, then unit for damage before assembly. If you don't know what you're looking at, find someone who does.Assembled and started this unit in about two minutes. Recommend using one of those long butane lighters used to light gas grills. Matches blow out, don't burn long enough sometimes. Though I am loathe to admit it, everything went perfectly for me because I read the directions first. Unless you are Hank Hill (legendary liquid propane salesman), READ THE DIRECTIONS.The manufacturer has made this unit virtually idiot proof, but it remains vulnerable to those deeper levels of stupid of which so many of us are capable. Be thorough, read the directions, and you'll be fine.

quick , easy to use, puts out good heat
I bought this for my daughter's lacrosse fall tournaments. After assembling and screwing on to my tank, the heater worked flawlessly over 2 days. It used leas than 1/2 of a 35# tank. We set it up in our ez up 10 by 10 tent with 3 sides down . It kept a 1/2 dozen girls toasty in a reasonable amount of time. The parents enjoyed it when the girls were off to their games. Many inquiries were made of where I got it. I priced it at walmart, lowes, home depot. Amazon prime was the best price with the free shipping.

It Works, but safe system is too sensitive.
I understand that we live in a day where common sense has been replace by irresponsibility and ineptness, but this device is ridiculous. This device has two safety mechanisms. it has the standard thermocouple system that will shut the device off in the event the the flame goes out. I can maybe understand a need for this safety system on this device, but it also has and equilibrium shut off safety system. The equilibrium safety system requires that the device be absolutely perfectly level in order to stay lit. Okay, HELLO! This is a tank top heater that is intended to be used in an outdoor or shop environment were perfectly level conditions do not exist. It took many attempts an adjustments to finally get this thing to stay lit. Once this thing is lit, even the slightest bump or vibration will cause it to go out, and the whole process starts all over again. The bottom line is that a device which has the purpose of being used in rough and imperfect conditions, should not be designed to require perfect conditions to operate. I bypassed the stupid equilibrium safety system and now the unit works fine, so I kept it, but I should not have to fix a brand new device.

Great for car-camping where fires are prohibited
I didn't know what to expect, but my family and I were headed out in early March for a four day truck-supported camping trip in a National Park where fires aren't permitted. Concerned about the cold, I took a chance and bought Mr. Heater. What a great result: both in the evening and, even more importantly, in the morning, my kids and my brother's kids would huddle around Mr. Heater as though he were the fire. They would chat, do Mad Libs, and laugh etc. He was the star of the cold desert mornings.Seems pretty sturdy, I wasn't worried about throwing it in the back of my truck (after packing it back in the cardboard box, of course). If I had any feedback for the manufacturer, it would be to sell me a travel kit to keep it safe. But, seriously, no issues with it. Seated down on a standard propane tank with no issues, and kept a group of five kids warm in about a 10 ft cone from the heating element (there's not heat from the back side of it). And that was on "medium" -- I was worried about running out of propane running it so much. But it was fine, came back after four days with probably half the tank left.

Great While it Works
I bought one. Liked it. Bought another. Must say, these things heat up a lot of space really fast. Both of mine however broke down after a month or so when a wire came loose that only an expert who would cost more than replacing the unit, could repair. If you buy this product, it WILL work well and do what you expect of it. Really.Just treat it very carefully and be sure nothing comes loose. Unless you are a fix-it savant in which case I'd have to add a couple more stars.I can't send them back because it's not the manufacturers fault that someone bumped into them, causing a wire to come loose.Caveat emptor.
