The media could not be loaded. This telescoping fishing rod has delivered so far. I purchased the seven foot rod, and love how little space it takes up when fully collapsed. This leads to easy storage in your boat or car, and also makes it extremely portable when packing into your favorite body of water. The value is great, and it’s really easy to assemble and use.

Let me start off by saying I love this combo. The case it comes in store everything nice and neat. The Rod and Reel combo is really nice for the money. I feel it is a quality rod and reel and even comes with (basic) lures. Going to use it today and if anything changes with what I said , I will update review.

The line that comes on the rod is good. The started lure set is good for small fish. The rod has good durability and is a goofed little rod. The bag is a little on the big side.

Why not 5 stars? I ordered two and both had an issue with the second eyelet from the tip. They were loose, would slide up and down the pole some. It could be corrected manually by sliding down into where it should be so that it tightens into place.Otherwise . . . I bought this because I'm paralyzed and get frequent rides to doctors' appointments. At a lot of my appointments, I will have to wait an hour or more for my return ride home and many of the locations of my appointments have great looking ponds for fishing. It isn't practical for me to take my 7' one-piece rod with me!

Great rod and reel combo, looks great and the fit and finish are high quality. Very happy with it so far.

Impressive tackle sling bag. Out of the box this bag appears sturdy and well-made. I was looking for a sling bag to use when wading inshore saltwater areas and this seems to fit the bill nicely. I needed a bag that could hold one 3700 series lure box and one 3600 series lure box. This one does. In addition, I was able to fit a leader material “wrist spool” and at least 15 packs of Z-man baits in there, too. That stuffs the bag to the gills but it does all fit. (Frankly I doubt I would ever need to carry anywhere near 15 packs of Z-man but I was curious about the capacity of the bag).One of the main reasons I wanted a sling-style bag for my saltwater inshore wade fishing is that I sometimes wade waist deep water and a sling bag rides high enough on my back to stay up out of the water. This bag is great in that respect.Even stuffed the bag is comfortable and well designed to fit (me, at least). The wide, padded shoulder strap is quite comfortable and the second strap and clip (to keep the bag in place when on your back) is perfectly fine, though not quite as nice as the one on my LLBean tackle sling bag (which itself is a great bag but not big enough to hold a 3700 box, so not an option for me for this particular application).Others have noted this but the pliers case that comes with the bag is small—suitable for hemostats or perhaps something a big bigger, but too small for standard sized aluminum fishing pliers. My only complaint at this point—and it is a minor one—is that I would have preferred to see a larger pliers case.Zippers on the bag are metal and appear to be reasonably heavy duty. I am interested to see how they stand up to the saltwater. Other than the zippers, the hardware on the bag is made of a heavy duty grade hard plastic, which is perfect for my intended use since rust is not a concern with plastic hardware.I ordered the black colorway, which is actually black trimmed with some olive green. I think it looks great and prefer the look to all-black.All in all, I am extremely pleased with this bag as a tackle carrier for saltwater inshore wade fishing. Now, to see how it stands up over time...
