Laser 3463 Diesel Injection Priming Tool

Allowed me to change my own fuel filter for the first time so certainly works.As others have said, you may have to swap the tubes over.I initially found regardless of how much I pumped, fuel wasn't being drawn. I had tried both orientations but nothing.While there seems to be a one-way-flow valve mechanisim, this valve exists at one end only, seemingly to stop you pushing air down into the fuel lines - that means while you pump, the other end is "always open" and so you're just sucking air in and out from this open end due to least resistance.If you cover this 'open end' between squeezes, you block the air from being sucked in, therefore drawing fuel into the bulb from the end you want.The special connector that fits over my fuel filter's port /connector provides too tight of a grip, far too much in fact that it was near impossible to remove, and left the inner plastic insert when I forced it off.A lot of messing about for one simple tool, but they all seem to have issues or quirks.

Fuel filter change air locked W210 E220cdi fuel line bleeding successful with this tool. Male connector OD is indeed 9.5mm (10mm advertised) so had to improvise with a 10mm straight hose connector to fit in the 10mm ID fuel hose from tank. Short pipes with this hand pump fit over 10mm tubes all snug but need clips to stop leaks. Didn't need the female connector. 5 minutes of pumping was enough (with fuel filter filled fully prior) to get the air out through return line.Another reviewer mentioned to somewhat restrict air passage on female connector side when priming the bladder with diesel initially. That's a must and thanks for that tip.

It's OK but be prepared to modify it for a more usable product.It wasn't clear this is for a vauxhall, though a lot of these tools are fairly universal. The flimsy plastic clip broke almost immediately.If I can make or source more robust fittings it should be salvageable but at that point it would have been better to just by a bulb on its own and create my own.

The female connectors on one end sealed ok but the male connector was 0.5mm smaller so fuel just spilled everywhere. Once this was sorted the clear pipe did not seal even with the clips in place so air was sicked in at all joints. Had to replace the pipe and jubilee clips to seal. Tbh i wouldnt have bothered except needed the car!! So very poor quality from a company that i have bought good tools from before. Disapointed!!

I have changed the fuel filter for Ford Focus Mk3 2011 95bhp 1.6TDI. Although, I have swapped the ends so it sucks from the pipe (through the filter) rather than the container.

This is for vauxhalls if you have a ford don't buy this it's not universal by the time you've bought the correct ford connectors your better off paying more for the one on eBay that fits ford fuel lines.

Bought to bleed the fuel system on my mk2 focus tdci and was sceptical at first until I used it and started first time after! I definitely recommend it to others!

The web site of manufacturer [...] says 10mm diameter connection but in reality it is not 10 but 9.5.I have measured it with electronic caliper.
