I’ve bought other timers before, and all the loud beeping was overstimulating for some of my students (and me!). A quick glance at the buttons is all it takes to figure things out.My only real wish? That they could time in seconds only. Right now, the minimum is 1 minute, which doesn’t work for every quick task or brain break we do. Still, one of my favorite teacher purchases overall!

These are great (but I don't know why we have to buy everything in multiples these days). Basic operation, easy to use, its nice that it sounds and also flashes a light. Of course we've got timers on our phones, but we need to restart this one every 2 hours and its easy to have it sitting on the counter to do that. Since I did get two, attached one to my stove where it hangs securely as a 2nd timer if needed.

Antonki brand timers, two-pack: great little timers :-) I appreciate the flashing light alert which is in addition to the alarm sound. I like to have both, but you can select to have the light with or without the sound. Nice to have choices. Well made timers, handy size, cheerful colors, and there is a niche at the top where you can attach a lanyard or wristlet. I did see where another commentor was having trouble opening the battery compartment, and I think I can help with that. In order to open the battery compartment, you need to first move the kickstand into its 'open' position. If you don't do that, then the closed kickstand is blocking the way that the cover of the battery compartment slides off. Hope that helps. I love these timers, and they're a great deal for a 2-pack. Also, I'm glad these are 'hours & minutes' instead of just 'minutes & seconds'. I use the 'hours' a lot, and need this type.

I purchased a set of these timers 9 months ago. Specifcally wanted ones that did hours and minutes. They both still work and I used them multiple times throughout the week. I often put need candles as a reminder to blow out. Its loud enough to get your attention but not super annoying.Functionality:Works as described. The start/stop and memory on this timer use the same button. You press twice to access the memory function. However, pressing that button once to pause or start the timer registers at a double tap at least 90% of time. I use the start/stop function fairly often. The clock resets to the saved time instead of pausing or restarting the clock and I end up having to reset the timer. No matter how hard, soft, fast, slow, to the left, towards the middle, or to the right of the button I press, it's always the same result. Even at a low price, if a thing doesn't function the way you need it to, it's not a good buy, but perhaps it will be for you. Just don't pause your timer.

easy to use, keeps good time and easy to read and a loud alarm

This is a great buy, sets for hours instead of 99 minutes as most of the other cheap timers. Counts up or down and you can turn the beeper on or off. A great deal!
