My wife always complained that she had to plug her phone in to get Carplay to work with her vehicle. It is not a major issue but she always wished her vehicle would have had the wireless option. This adapter solved that issue. It was very easy to install. Just plug it in and pair it via Bluetooth and it works. There have been a few bugs like with any Bluetooth device. At one point I even decided to forget the device and then re-pair it. Since then it has worked pretty much flawlessly. We drive a Chevrolet. It works with both our phones which is nice. Occasionally it is a little slow but most of the time I find if I just give it a minute it will pair up. Once in a while, I have to go into the Bluetooth settings and manually start the connection but it is rare.There is no noticeable lag between what I see on the display and the audio and controls. It is a very smooth interface. I have been happy with the device so far.If you want a more convenient way of using Carplay for the older wireless connections this works well.

The media could not be loaded.  The device is well built and solves an inconvenience in my vehicle. I have a 2019 Rav4 LE which only supports apple Carplay via a wired connection. The adapter has basically eliminated the mess of cabling that I had lying in the front of my car.The adapter is pretty much plug and play, and the screen lights up with a message about connecting to Bluetooth within a few seconds of being plugged in. Establishing this Bluetooth connection is the longest part of the process and the speed of connection varies. Ive got it connected in 20 seconds and Ive also had to wait over a minute sometimes. But once connected, theres no lag of any kind and CarPlay works flawlessly.Would recommend this to anyone seeking the convenience of wireless Apple carplay!

After 5 months, it stopped working.

I have had this for about three months now and it works perfectly in my Honda CRV with my iPhone. It takes about 20 seconds to connect and then it works as well as the wired CarPlay that came with my vehicle. I would definitely recommend it.

Wow - just WOW!!My wife hates wires showing in the cars, so this is truly an answer to a longstanding problem. I like to use CarPlay (specifically WAZE on CarPlay for directions when traveling) and on both my 2022 Jeep Gladiator and her 2023 Ford Explorer, using CarPlay required having the phone plugged in.Now, I just plug this adapter in and stow it out of sight and as soon as I start the car, it wirelessly connects and provides all functions and features of CarPlay (including Siri) on the screen after a short boot-up sequence that lasts just a couple of seconds.And the great part is, it's completely portable from one vehicle to the other - truly plug-and-play. Ultimately I'm sure I'll buy a second one so we'll have one for each vehicle - but so far it's worked OK just grabbing the adapter and plugging into whichever vehicle we're taking.I've used this several times during the short time I've had it and am already 100% sold on the capabilities. I have seen no real difference in using CarPlay wirelessly over wired - except I don't have a power/data cable showing. In fact, I can keep my phone in my pocket while being connected to the vehicle's radio system and talk on the phone, hear and respond to text messages, get guidance via WAZE or other navigational maps and have full access to Siri.When I registered for the 12-month warranty, I was automatically upgraded to a 12+12 warranty (given a second year of warranty free). And, I might add the company is extremely good at responding to questions you might have - even boasting an 18-hour response time maximum.And the adapter evidently will continually update with over-the-air signals automatically.Latency doesn't seem to be an issue and my only complaint would be that the "manuals" that come with the product have a type size that is almost microscopic. Even with my bifocals it was next to impossible to read.

I have a Hyundai Sonata 2021 and the only way I used CarPlay was wired connection before, it is inconvenient. I never imagined that an accessory could convert wired to wireless till one day I saw a post on Reddit mention this dongle. I think I have to buy one.This dongle is easy to use, and the setup is very simple. No need to install extra drivers or software. I used it for a week and there are no syncing issues. Maps, Apple music, everything worked like normal. I do not need to plug and unplug the wire anymore, it is harmful to the port of my phone. Every time I start the engine, the adapter reconnects to my phone automatically.This dongle has definitely exceeded my expectations and it truly worth the price.

When it worked it was great, but I forever had to unplug and plug back in to get the device to connect. Too expensive to be unreliable, so I returned.

For complete transparency I have received this product FOC to test, but this is my unbiased opinion.I am thoroughly impressed with this product and it met my expectations in every way. The setup was incredibly easy, taking only a few minutes from unboxing to being up and running. The design is sleek and modern, with the metal construction giving it a premium feel that stands out from other products I have used.The performance is outstanding; it works very well indeed. The product not only looks great but also feels solid and durable, plus I can now just get in the car and drive without having to plug it in and have excess wires cluttering up the centre console.There are a couple of minor issues I've noticed, but they are not deal-breakers. Firstly, there's a slight delay when interacting with the touchscreen—about 1-2 seconds when pressing next track, for example. However, I've found that this is a common issue across similar products. Secondly, when my car automatically turns on the lights due to darkness, the screen momentarily goes black for around a second as it switches to Dark Mode, and the same happens when it returns to light mode. I reached out to the manufacturer and they were very responsive and I believe they are working on recreating and hopefully fixing these issues.Despite these minor quirks, the overall experience has been fantastic. This product's ease of use, aesthetic appeal, and solid build quality make it a standout choice. Highly recommended!

Im Großen und Ganzen bis jetzt ganz okay. Eine Verbindung herzustellen, funktionierte recht schnell und durch den mitgelieferten Klebepad, war auch das unauffällige anbringen recht einfach. Einziges Manko, hat ab und an kleine Aussetzer.Hoffe die häufen sich nicht.

Let me start by being 100% transparent and saying that I was reimbursed for the cost of this in exchange for a thorough test and review. That said, I feel no obligation to provide anything other than my honest experience.I'm using this in my VW Transporter T6.1 which has built in Apple CarPlay support, but only via wired USB C, which has always been a little frustrating (iPhone 15 Pro). I'd been looking at buying a wireless adapter for quite a while, but was always put off by the poor reviews regarding reliability and quality. So the offer to test this came as a welcome opportunity.On unboxing, first impressions were very positive. The adapter has a high quality feel, being constructed of metal and glass with a nice braided cable and weighty feel. There's also a USB-A to C dongle in the box, along with a quick start guide, user manual, warranty card and double-sided sticky mount if you want to secure the adapter to your car (nice touch).Now on to installation. On initial plug-in I connected my phone via bluetooth to the adapter, but the CarPlay refused to recognise it, so I quickly moved on to the troubleshooting steps in the guide. An update of the firmware seemed to solve the problem and I was soon using CarPlay wirelessly without issues. Hardly any discernable lag and all the usual 'wired' functionality worked as expected. But in the following days I was plagued by random disconnects or worse still, failure to connect at all. Usually I could solve this by forgetting the connection and reconnecting. Obviously this was not a long term solution. But I presevered and found that the issue was almost always due to my phone connecting to another Bluetooth device or network. So once I'd disabled the bluetooth on my VW infotainment and my dashcam (which also has wireless connectivity), things seem to have settled down nicely. It now connects reliably and very quickly (in around 10 seconds) and I'm enjoying the full wireless CarPlay experience. I still get the occasional glitchy dropped audio when streaming music, but as I mainly use it for SatNav and not music, that doesn't bother me too much and I can live with it.Overall if my experience from the start was the same as now, I'd probably give it 5 stars. But given it was a little fussy on initial setup (asking your average user to connect to an IP address and perform a firmware upgrade) I'll give it a solid 4 stars.
