A cpap advise channel recommended this type of pillow for side sleepers who have issues with their neck and masks leaking because of regular pillows pushing them around on your face. I didn't want to pay $140. For the tv brand so I found this and I couldn't pass it up at the low price. I have to say that I am very pleased so far. The straight drop off the edge doesn't interfere with my cpap gear and it helps my neck pain. I use the 5" inch thickness because I'm 5'5" in height and it goes to 6'3" the 4" thickness is for those below 5'4" and the 6" thickness is for people above 6'3". I found the density of the foam to be perfect for me, firm enough to be supportive and soft enough to be comfortable. I'm still adjusting to it a bit after a few nights, my neck and back are jacked up from years of bad angles on my neck and spine from regular pillows and this pillow is allowing me to have proper alignment for the first time in a long time. I actually heard a couple of vertebrae popping the other night as I got into position and started to relax. So far I really like it and I think it was a bargain for what it does and compared to the TV brand. I can't really say if I really noticed anything about the cooling effect either way, it's comfortable and I barely move from my position all night because of it. Also I haven't really noticed if one side is softer or not, mainly because I haven't been flipping it around a lot. If it is, it's negligible, I find I comfortable no matter what side. I did purchase a separate set of pillow cases for it and I'm glad I did that too. The ones I bought were a perfect fit and even softer than the one that comes on it.

I had been sleeping with a cervical pillow that was VERY pricy and touted as a side sleeper’s dream pillow for “deep sleep”. It worked well enough but after a year of use (and increased neck and shoulder pain) I knew I needed something with an even higher loft. Enter this pillow - it is 6” high which is typically recommended for people much taller than I (a 5’6 woman), but it is PERFECT. I haven’t had any neck pain since I began using it. It is also the perfect blend of firmness where it holds my noggin aloft when I’m side sleeping but it also is squishy enough that I can roll onto my back and still be comfy. Plus, the price was right, even if I have to buy one every year. Highly recommend this pillow if you’re still experiencing neck and shoulder pain after using one of the fancy side sleeper pillows!

So I have given this pillow a trial run for a couple of nights. I got the 5" inch (medium) one. It's very firm and will keep its shape all night long. That is both a good and bad thing. The firmness helps with my neck support 100%, since the neck should stay aligned with your spine while sleeping. I used to have headaches every night right around my neck area because my old pillow was getting flat over the years. With this new pillow, the headache is gone. So some of us may think it is almost like a "rock" due its firmness, but it is a good thing in that regard and will keep its shape for a long time to come. The cube shape does really help keep my head from falling with the 90 degree angle, thus taking away my neck pains.Don't get me wrong. The pillow is still pretty soft to your head, though may be not soft enough for some people. To me, it does need to be a little softer, since I'm a deep sleeper and don't change positions too often at night. This can be irritating to the ear or single side of my face, since I'm mostly a side sleeper. It does work perfectly if you're a back sleeper, even more comfortable in that position, ironically.This cube pillow is kind of cool to my head when I first lay down and keeps a moderate temperature all night long, which is great. It never gets too hot like my old one. It does not start off as cold as my 2nd pillow that I am still using, but then gets pretty hot within a minute, which is bad in my opinion. The consistent temperature that this new one keeps is a nice bonus, not too cold nor hot. I like that a lot.Finally, I would give this a five-star rating if it was a little softer, though it's still a very nice pillow for the price.

I am a side sleeper. I have been looking for the perfect pillow and came across this one. I ordered the 6in and it is PERFECT! I still have to use another pillow underneath as I have shoulder problems. This pillow is soft, yet firm. Less than 24 hours for it to inflate to the proper size. No funny smell out of the package. If you are looking for great side sleeping support, this pillow is the one for you!!

It is like a brick. You must be an oversized person for it to intent. Look at the picture of the woman they show... the way her head lays on yhe pillow. Her head is not forming into the pillow. It's a hard uncomfortable pillow. It literally hurts the neck. No one in my family liked it. A reviewer said "its too soft"... that is an untrue statement!

Itz ok. Wish it was firmer but I appreciate it is good quality memory foam. The cover is low thread count cotton blend & culd be better. Bought another cover.It hasn't helped me as much as I had hoped but it's a good pillow for the price. I'm good with it.

Liked mine so much, I immediately bought a second! For my bad neck, I have a pillow collection from $200 memory foam, V-shaped, roll, full body, buckwheat, foam chips, and a multi-shaped "flower" type; this feels like one of the best! I bought this one to try because of the low "closeout" price because I no-longer am willing to spend $70+ for pillows and am glad I did! The square shape helps to meet my shoulder and give support directly to my neck which is what so many other pillows fail to do, and I had a decent night's sleep. I'd rate this second to my buckwheat, which is cool and can be custom shaped, but for the price and neck support, this is well worth it. Like I wrote, I liked mine so much that I bought a second one, maybe even a third for a spare!

I don't know why anyone would review these negatively. Solid head support and the cooling effect is great for hot sleepers like me. I bought my wife one too and she said the same thing. Never stop selling these.

The product did not meet my expectations. I had anticipated a better performance; however, the pillow compresses significantly when weight is applied. Regrettably, if you are seeking a pillow that maintains firmness throughout the night, this is not the suitable choice.
