I used this equipment for assessment for my patients ranging age 6 to 106. This works just the the hospital and is definitely worth the value for your money. I was shocked to see how well and durable it was and is very easy to use. I dropped it more than 5 times and it still works just fine. I love the case it comes with it is hard light weight and durable as well. You will not be disappointed.Trust me I have been a nurse for 25 years.

I'm a nurse and nurse practitioner student. Lots of experience with otoscopes. Bought this to have at home for my kid with frequent ear wax problems. Didn't need to use it until after the return window closed and now I am stuck with a piece of junk and out $50 bucks. The light does not turn on. Fresh batteries, switched the bulb and tried both head attachments. Do not recommend it. Save your money.

I really liked this product for the price! I ordered the set to use for an Advanced Health Assessment class for my NP program. I have ordered a couple of other brands and sent them back because they were cheaply made for the same price. I will definitely be keeping this one. This set by Zetalife is very sturdy and feels like the quality of high end products. The otoscope attachment works as well as any that I have used in doctor offices. The opthalmascope attachment is my only complaint - it does not seem to have the power to see the minor details of the inner eye. I would definitely recommend this set for home use or for school use since the price is so reasonable.

I am starting PA school and needed to buy a set that included an otoscope and ophthalmoscope. I found this set for the best price and decided to buy it hoping for the best. I read some reviews and saw that it needed C batteries and did not come with disposable heads. I bought Amazon basic batteries and the manufacture sells a set of disposable heads for around 15 dollars that I also bought (pictures included). I am very happy so far with this product. Since I am a student, I will be practicing my skills with this, but in clinical settings these both will be on the wall, so I did not want to buy the 600 dollar set recommended by my school (I am a broke student). For my use this will be great!! The set comes with two replacement bulbs and reusable heads for the otoscope (not gross for personal use, but needed to get heads for when I practice on classmates).In summary, I am very happy with my purchase so far. I will update my post when I have my first lab day.

I bought this item to replace some old ones that had stopped working. So far I'm very happy with it - I can see everything I need to and the device is easy to use and works great! I also like that it comes with replacement bulbs. I also like the compact storage case that it comes in which is a great improvement from the last one which was bulky and difficult to access. So far I'm very pleased with the product.

Purchased for NP school. I appreciate the interchangeable head but I am unable to see much during a fundoscopic exam. A classmate had the same set in a different color and I was able to see the back of the eye perfectly, so maybe it’s hit or miss? After some use, the light on/off only works when it’s about half-turned so you have to find the “sweet spot” for the light to stay on. This also has an attachment so you can buy disposable speculum covers. Overall, for budget purposes, this works but I wish I could use for fundoscopic exam practice.Update 12/21/23: seller reached out and offered a full refund. Then later said I needed to send the item back and provide all my information for a prepaid shipping label. Amazon strongly recommend buyers to not give personal information so I opted not to do this, not to mention, that’s such a hassle. I’d probably search elsewhere if in the market for one of these.

I ordered a few months ago j used it a few times in my first semester of medical school and it was good. It wasn't too heavy but not light weight. I felt like the this one was better than the ones some of my classmates had.
