I had several extra-large dog beds I wanted to store in an outdoor shed, but I wanted them protected. These bags were perfect! They were plenty large and sturdy enough to carry by the tied top.

When I was moving I used them to cover large ventilate items. They do not protect from movement or breakage, but they were what I need. Kept dust and dirt off and kept any loose parts together.

Loved how big the bags are. Fits a big suitcase and a small one. I used these coming back from vacation just to make sure in case of any bed bugs. Al though I did not see any at the hotel we stayed but I get paranoid so these came in handy.

Using to store clean, fleecy blankets as we have a Collie blowing her coat and a Brown Recluse spider invasion. I would NOT use these thin, easily punctured bags to store anything with sharp edges which would poke a hole in the bag instantly.I tried a bag on an XL hard sided suitcase and it worked as far as covering the suitcase. Moving the suitcase once wrapped in the bag required using 2 arms and a lift/carry/set down carefully method to avoid any damage to the bag.Provided with the bags are short lengths of gift wrap ribbon to secure the opening. I would never consider these bags to be 100% airtight for storing items in locations with strong smells or moisture.These are just OK.
