The book arrived early and in perfect condition. I use the book for professional development with teachers and they love the book, as do I. The probes get to the misconceptions we see in classrooms, and they follow-up probes are great for retests. The best part if the discussion of the probe itself, including looking at student work and information on research for further understanding.

As we move toward standards-based report cards in the middle school, rigorous probes to determine if a student has mastered a concept are critical for teachers to assess learning. This book provides great resources and analysis tools to assist teachers.

This book rocks! For teachers wanting to use formative assessment to improve instruction, this is a good book! Highly recommend!
