I got these to keep dust off my shoes w/o needing to deal with getting shoes in/out of cardboard shoeboxes. The cardboard shoeboxes are hard to dust. These plastic boxes have opening in the door to allow air flow so I can put away my shoes right away (rather than letting them sit out for a while to air out before stashing in cardboard shoebox). I can easily fit 2 pairs of slimmer shoes in one box (e.g., sandals, flats). Doors are easy to open, and stay closed.Easy enough to assemble. Appreciate others posting videos. I have stack of 3 boxes side-by-side. The two stacks don't stay attached with the included plastic doohickies, but that doesn't matter.Overall, pleased with my purchase and like how it keeps my closet looking neater than with old shoe rack. I bought the dark color and like how it blends in (vs the clear plastic).

The material is plastic.Its real easy to set up.They're a good price.They're big enough to fit most shoes.The four corners of the inside of the lid have magnets to keep it shut.The plugs to keep the boxes stationary work well.

These have been a game changer for me regarding shoe storage. I'd been living in the dark ages by using crates and other means to store shoes and I have a lot of shoes - too many in fact, but being able to stack them using these has helped clear all the shoe clutter. Just wish I could get more of the dark plastic storage containers. They seem to be running low lately.

I absolutely love these boxes to help organize my teenage sons room. I initially ordered another style and when I received them I got 12 but they were so flimsy and hard to put together. I returned those and bought 2 sets of 6 of these shoe boxes and I am extremely happy and so was my son. It took no time to assemble them. I can definitely say I will be purchasing a few more sets.

Easy to assemble and work well! My sons never put their shoes on the old shoe rack, so I bought these boxes giving each pair of shoes their own little home. Suddenly, my sons are putting their shoes where they belong instead of just leaving them on the floor in our entry way, keeping the area so much tidier! My only complaint is that I wish they were a bit more heavy duty, but overall, they are a win.
