This shelf is gorgeous, sturdy, and assembly was relatively easy with only a few minor issues I encountered below. The gold has a subtle glitter effect to it and the marble laminate was well installed on all surfaces. Very well made. The only thing I don't enjoy is the appearance of the bolts on the side of the shelves (especially the four to install piece #9) but it's a minor irritation and doesn't detract from the shelf.Assembly tips:2nd pic: you'll see a number 10 support bar with a misaligned bolt. The middle hole in #10 is not quite centered, it's offset by about 2 mm. This isn't problematic if you install both shelf beams identically in the same direction, but if you accidentally flip the front and back supports your shelf won't install until you remove and flip the #10.Pic 3 & 4 you definitely want to follow the instructions to not tighten every bolt until the entire thing has been assembled *except for the bolts directly above the arched number 8 support beam*. Once the number eight support beam has been installed it will be very difficult to get your hand and the Allen wrench into the space between so you want to tighten the bolt above the arch as circled in the picture of the instruction manual.Pic 4: One of my poles had a metal Burr inside the hole and so the bolt could not be installed. When I contacted customer service they said they would have to send me an entirely new shelf but I was able to remove the Burr by simply putting a drill bit through it in a high speed drill, and it sheared off the metal bit. If you need to do so wear eye protection and watch for flying metal shard!

I received the first one damaged but the second one was in tact and works wonderfully for all my folders and storages boxes. The metal is not super sturdy so I wouldn't put too much weight on it. It does shake a bit whenever you take something off of it but that's because I didn attach it to the wall yet. It is quite spacious and can hold a lot of stuff that isn't too heavy. The only downside was the fact that the gold paint wasn't uniform throughout and some of the metal frame pieces were lighter than others. Other than that it was fairly easy to install for one person just follow instructions closely and take your time. Pretty happy with my purchase and the price was very good.

I bought two of these but haven’t built the second yet. This is an amazing piece but be prepared for the absolute butchery of your fingers for the next day or so. It’s not that it’s difficult to put together, it’s not at all. There are just soooo many screws! 😂All in all…this shelving unit is so cool! It perfectly suits my needs and is solid as a brick wall! I can’t wait to get the other one put together and sitting sit by side with this one.

So, I really like this bookcase. It matches my desk, however...it came with a missing piece-a shelf no less. I contacted the manufacturer and was told they don't keep replacement parts and to contact Amazon, Both the maufacturer and Amazon want you to send the entire unit back and them Amazon sends out a new one. Are you kidding? Apparently not. We had the whole thing out and was inventorying the parts before assembly-you can't put everything back the way it was originally packaged! What a bummer. And if you're disabled at all or not in the best of circumstances-it may be very difficult to return after it's out of the box. My solution was to take a piece of cardboard and cut it to size, drape a scarf over it to hide the fact that it's not a shelf and placed a light object on it. Not perfect, not completely happy, but other than that, it looks great and goes with the rest of my office decor.

Wanted to do something different for my bar area! This bookshelf is very sturdy and the perfect size. Great buy for the price. Assembly was easy with clear instructions. Will buy again!

Very strong stable and affordable unit will definitely buy it again

When the delivery man showed up with a dolly, I had no idea how heavy this thing was going to be. Also how many screws were involved! I really think they should include a cloth glove when having to use those tiny cranks- it destroyed my hand from all of the turning and tightening this piece required.Assembly was easy enough- clear directions and not complicated at all. The piece got a little tricky due to its weight when I needed to combine the three stacks but I figured out an angling method that worked for me.The materials are great- it matches a console table I had previously purchased on Amazon over a year ago so they can work as a set in my next home. Also the materials are easy to clean.Likely if you found this in a Home Goods/TjMaxx/Marshalls it would cost closer to $200-$250 with it being assembled for you. Worth it do it yourself- just wear a glove!Delivery was quick- less than a week- actually showed up a day before it was scheduled.

I put this in guest room! It takes some time putting together but worth it! Looks great and heavy! The size is perfect!

It took about 2.5 hours to construct with assistance. It's very well made and sturdy but the design makes it look spacious even tho it's packed with books. I like it a lot and would say it's good value as it will last forever.

It came with a lot of pieces and it took 2hrs to build but a very nice looking bookcase.

An sich ein sehr schönes Regal und bin optisch sehr zufrieden damit, jedoch! War es beim Aufbau schwierig weil manche Bretter konnte man nicht richtig fest schrauben und waren somit sehr sehr locker. Aber am Ende als man alles zusammen gesteckt hatte waren die lockeren Bretter fest dran.

Super wacklig. Die Schrauben passen nicht in die vorgebohrtem Löcher und können somit nicht festgezogen werden. Die Schrauben sind zu dem auf dem linken Teil auf der falschen Seite anzubringen und sichtbar.Ich behalte den Artikel, weil ich keine Lust habe diese Schrauben alle wieder zu entfernen.Sehr enttäuschend
