One of my friends, an English teacher, is passionate about detective books. She takes every opportunity to "solve a mystery " both in person and online.Every year for her birthday I buy her a detective book, or a experience like "break the code, mystery room", however this year I couldn't afford more than this game. When I saw the package, I didn't think much of it... but my friend loved it. We played the game for her birthday and it was awesome. She liked the plot and the game got us all engaged. I am not good at this kind of things, but I must confess I enjoyed playing it. The story has a series of twists, however it is not as complicated as I thought it would be. My friend said this is better than the online games she usually plays.She kept on talking about it so much, that I am now thinking about getting her another one, for Christmas.

My brother bought one of these in the range and thoroughly enjoyed the investigative aspect. It was certainly a game that gets your brain working in the line of a homicide detective - Highly recommended!

We had some friends around for a night and we all really enjoyed doing this case file. This is actually our third one we have done!.The amount of evidence and supporting paper work in the file is really good! It got our brains thinking!When you think you have solved the file you can use the online site to find out if you are correct but before they confirm they go through some of the clues which is good as if you get it incorrect you can rethink your answer and it also helps peice everything together!Cannot wait to do another definitely recommend getting it! Everything is really immersive and everyone gets stuck in and really try to work out who it is from all the evidence!

Story is poor, lots of open ended questions/leads without Answers. Clues are very easy to solve and codes to crack, but the story/motive/murder is so unrealistic it's laughable. Very short game too, others normally take hours this took 45mins !!!spoilers!!! don't read any furtherThe story is that a son, working in a hospital, bumps into a man who her thinks is his father, performs a secret DNA test to confirm it, travels to his home, steals his epi-pen, (oh because he know his dad has an allergy to nuts) and waits till he accidentally eats nuts, with out his epi-pen dies... I mean is this even a murder??? No it's a very poor storyz thought up in seconds, no character development, red herrings, no satisfaction when the story was finished....Avoide this series don't buy...No disrespect to the seller, but very poor product.

We were a group of 4 beginners and we did it in two hours. We didn’t want it to take too long so as soon as we’d hit a wall we’d look at a new clue online.Tips for others: find an alibi for the suspects, figure out their motive.It’s not the obvious choice, read within the lines and unpick certain evidence.You need to use some decryption methods to figure out the passwords for hidden clues.

Interesting game to play with friends or family; it came sealed. The quality of the paper is great. I recommend it if you want to spend a great time. Nice story with great clues!

My son loves these

Have done several alternative brand murder mysteries which included a checklist so we could make sure we had everything at our disposal to solve the case. Unfortunately this one didn't and as we saved it to take it on a large family break we spent a few frustrating hours trying to garner a complete list of suspects without realising several cruicial items were missing, including a passenger list and passport info, until we succumbed to getting hints from the site.
