These are the ones you want!
The media could not be loaded. We’ve tried fluent pet and the generic large rounded edge buttons, and neither worked for my Great Dane. Fluent pet is too small and close together, requiring a lot of paw precision. The other type is not sensitive enough and the rounded top causes her paw to slide off. These are fantastic for a few reasons:Flat topExtra largeHair trigger sensitivityBonus positives:Made in colors the dog can seeProgrammable for custom soundsThe mat is big, allowing space between the buttonsBuy these, seriously. They’re the best. I attached a video of the first time she used them, after failing fir 4 years with the fluent pet and other type. She regularly uses these now and we’ve had them for about a week.

FluentPet should take note of these
The price point and the quality are great. I wouldn't pay more for this type of thing, but it is a lot lower than others. The buttons are easy to set up and there is a clear, easy to read instruction manual. The mat that comes with it seems to be a good quality product as well and is not flimsy. My dog is already acquainted with speech buttons from other brands that didn't last and immediately asked for outside. Here's hoping these hold up.

Easy to Use and sits nicely in the mat
We are just starting out with button training so we were not sure where to start. Instead of getting one or two buttons, we opted to get this small set. The pad looked nice, the buttons were decently sized and various colors and sat securely in the pad.Our Australian Shepherd seems to have taken to the idea (though, he is lazy and likes to lay down to hit the buttons). We introduced one at a time and after a couple of days of vigorous scratching at it, it is still in good shape. It is pretty responsive in comparison to another well known brand that I had a chance to try. I used two of the transparent stickers but liked that there were a few in there for our own ideas. The buttons have a switch on the bottom. My eye sight is not the best, but I figured out that R was record and P was play. I set the batteries in place and had no problem recording commands.Training side note: It took him a little longer to get to the point where he would press the button on the floor with his paw. Part of the problem was some of the commands we use have signs with them and trying to get him to acknowledge the button turned into laying down because it looked like another command. That's totally my issue and not his (he's pretty smart). I am hoping that once he gets these first two down, the rest will be much easier to teach. I do highly recommend finding some people that already train buttons with their dogs to get ideas. From what I can tell, my dog will be very dependent on placement on the mat which might make it a challenge to move.Looking forward to getting all these buttons and investing in the next set. As far as I can see, I think these will work great for our Aussie.

Really nice!
My dog is smart. These just make him smarter! But he presses it to get my attention. There great! The buttons work great! Sound could be louder.

Product works as intended, dog does not
No issues with the buttons. Generally smart dog, who is well-trained, apparently does not feel the need to communicate with me outside her normal side-eye, occasional bark of displeasure, and excessive cuddles. Oh well, not the product’s fault. Probably should try a “belly rub” button but then I’d never get a moment’s peace 😂.

Don't use the rubber mat
I like the size of these. My Aussie caught on quickly. However, the rubber mat used to hold them in place muffles the sound to the point you cannot understand what they are saying. I found a way to elevate them so the sound is louder, but I would say it would be better to try a different brand. They are easy to use, and I do like them, as long as I don't use the mat to keep them in place

Got confused setting them up
These were a little tricky to set up but that might just be me getting confused. Our pup started taking to them well but then health issues got in the way - so we haven't had a chance to really work with these. I'm excited to keep going once we're all feeling a bit better.

My pup 💜 this!!!
About 10 minutes after I opened the packaging and set up the first button " I love you". My pup hit the I love you button & I wasn't even watching. Then my pup did it again. I have a total of 4 buttons, I got a potty, Let's go for a walk, Let's play, I love you. This morning, my pup hit "let's go for a walk". It woke me up and I'm so happy and we went for a walk. My pup is very smart, she's 9 9 months old. Looking forward to future possibilities. Thank you.
