Excellent way to treat your books
These clear and sturdy bookends have changed how I shelve books. They are reasonably priced, they work as they are supposed to work, and most important they are gentle on the books while showing off their beauty. I've bought them again and will continue to buy them, replacing my current mashup of steel library-style bookends, a few other miscellaneous ones, and of course the constant search for clever ways to shelve the books so that you don't need to support them.But I believe you DO need to spupport them, and I'm glad to have found these. I highly recommend them.

They arrived early and came with protective film on both sides of each bookend to protect the plastic from scratches. They are a good weight and even come with rubber feet you can attach if wanted. They hold my books up great (I have very heavy books) and are a great value for the price.

Perfect for bookshelf
I love these for my bookshelf! They’re clear so you can’t see them, but they do such a wonderful job for my bookshelf that has more open sides.

Make sure you read instructions!
At first I was going to give these a negative review because they were NOT clear as described and they had an awful chemical smell. Then I discovered that they were covered with a protective film which was responsible for the odor, and of course once I removed the film, they were clear, LOL (and odor free). I was hasty in putting them to use so I didn't even glance at directions (didn't notice there were any at first). These are perfectly fine and at a decent price, too. The dimensions for some reason are listed as 2" by 2" - don't know how those got there but they're 6.5 inches high and 5 inches wide.
