A Flat Screen Above The Mantle
Yes, I have a TV above my fireplace and we like it there. We sit in our recliners and are able to watch until it’s time for bed. A mantle is no place for a large DVD player. This one fits the bill. We are able to leave this DVD player under the TV where a normal DVD player would fit. It comes with a remote and updated connections (HDMI) where our others were outdated. It plays well and we are able to watch older DVDs of movies we love from the 90’s. Streaming is great but unless you have the right service you may miss out on your favorites. I like the portability and the ease of setup. Sound quality is better than what we had before. Did I say it includes an HDMI cable?

The device is small and compact, but it is overly covered in plastic. Just one drop could cause significant damage. While small and compact, it has excessive plastic covering; one drop could damage it.
