I didn’t care for the mouse personally. I have another one I like better but these curl cream and the gel are regulars in my routine now.

I have curly, grey and white hair. Grey and white hairs tends to be dry and regular hair products can leave a dull, pale yellow tint to hair, so products specifically developed for grey or white hair usually work better than regular products. My problem is that it's very hard to find products developed for grey and white AND curly hair. I have used the same leave-in conditioner and gel for years but I am no longer able to find them so I've been on a search for the perfect leave-in conditioner and gel combination.I recently tried Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner and a strong hold gel. The gel hold was too strong and the leave-in conditioner seemed to work well, although it was hard to tell with the strong hold gel. Unfortunately, the conditioner was developed for curly hair but not specifically grey and white hair and it was yellow in color so I decided to replace both the gel and the conditioner. The Not Your Mother's Frizz Control Curl Talk Sculpting Gel and Refreshing Curl Talk Foam were clear and the Defining Curl Talk Cream was white so I decided to try them even though they weren't specifically developed for white and grey hair.I began using the Not Your Mother's products exclusively after I received them. The defining cream is nice but a little light weight for my hair. The gel and the refresher work very well for me. They have a pleasant scent, the gel is the perfect level of hold, and the curl refresher renews my curls better than any other refresher I've used.I decided to use the Mixed Chicks Leave-in Conditioner with the Not Your Mother's gel to see if the slightly heavier conditioner might work a bit better for my hair than the Not Your Mother's cream conditioner. I washed and towel dried my hair, then added a bit of Mixed Chicks conditioner, worked it through my hair, added a dollop of the Not Your Mother's gel, worked it through my hair, and scrunched and pushed my hair around a bit until it looked reasonably like my desired hair style. At that point, my hair was more wavy than curly. I left for the grocery with my hair still wet.After an hour or so at the grocery and outside in 79% humidity, I arrived home and checked to see how my hair look. Gel in my hair can often cause it to take several hours to dry but my hair was almost completely dry. It was also soft, with a nice mix of curly and wavy hair. And it was not at all frizzy, which is surprising considering the 79% humidity.I like the actual hair products in this combo and they are cruelty free, are made in the U.S. (with imported ingredients) and don't contain many of the ingredients that are harmful to hair. However, plastics are in essentially everything on the planet at this point and we need to substantially reduce our use of non-recyclable plastics that aren't biodegradable very quickly. I tried to determine whether the containers for these products were made from recycled plastics and/or were recyclable in most parts of the country but it wasn't clear in the product listing. I eventually found a recyclable symbol on one of the containers and thought they were all recyclable. I was wrong. The curl refresher's container indicated it is made from recyclable plastic in the #1 category, which is widely recyclable. The gel and conditioner cream containers are not recyclable and are not made from recycled plastic. That is a major issue for me. I'm being generous and rating the combo pack 4 stars because the products themselves are cruelty free and are made without many of the harmful ingredients used by many hair products in this price range.All in all, I like this Not Your Mother's combo pack for curly hair of all textures very much but I am disappointed that only one of their containers is recyclable. I prefer a slightly heavier leave-in conditioner, the Not Your Mother's conditioner cream would probably work well for someone with hair that is less dry than mine. I will continue using my Mixed Chicks/Not Your Mother's combo but that's just my preference. At some point I will renew my search for my Goldilocks Just Right hair products combo if the manufacturer continues to use non-recyclable containers.

This is the best product for curly hair. It really makes my hair shine.

I originally discovered this product through its gel which has been notorious in the curly hair community for being light weight with good hold. After experiencing hair loss from using a different brand of curl cream I decided to switch to the cream, gel, mousse combo and it has worked phenomenally. I raked the product through my hair using cream first, then mousse and finally gel. This product works great if you air dry, but in the picture below I diffused it, and then broke the gel cast with argan oil. Curls last 3-4 days if you sleep with a bonnet and refresh with a hair oil. Great price, great product, definitely purchasing again! Bonus: it smells amazing!

I’ve always struggled with freezing hair after a long day and these products make my hair last (without frizz) wayyy longer! Also way better defined curls!

I rarely leave reviews but I had to for this.My hair dries slightly wavy in a frizzy, not so cute way. Usually I straighten it but I’ve been trying to use less heat and was looking for products to enhance my waves.These products work amazingly well, are easy to use, and leave my hair looking great, with all day hold. Plus, I have no frizz and my hair looks shiny!

I was using these for a while because I actually thought it was normal for them to dry my hair out and that I just needed more product. That was not the case. It was super uncomfortable to brush my hair because it was just so dry and easily tangled. As soon as I switched to different products my hair has been so much healthier and stronger. I’m sure this works for some curly hair, but not for mine.
