It's hard to hold a 1000 page book without some support. This book holder is wonderful.

We go this to use in the kitchen, holding book, binders, papers, etc when we are cooking. Works like a champ! Well made and solid.

This is a really nice book stand. I use it because I have shoulder and neck issues which makes it exhausting to hold up books to read them. Keep in mind that it does not hold magazines well because the two side clamps are not thin enough to push into the plexiglass to hold the magazines also for paperback books. This will not work.

Fits all books I’ve used it for so far with no issues.Reading ability: 💯 the page holders are small enough and flexible to where they don’t have to be in the way of the words on the page.Ease of use: 9/10… Although it is simple to figure out how to maneuver and adjust the stand to an angle that you prefer, it takes a little extra effort to do so. While this is great for the fact that it can hold sturdy for heavier books. It can be frustrating when trying to adjust it in the moment.I love that the side brackets are flexible but hold the pages in place very well.I originally bought this to hold books for reading. However, I realized it becomes frustrating to move the page holders every time I turn the page, so I tend to use it more for holding my cook books while making dinner or baking and it is perfect for that!

I have some back and neck issues that are aggravated when sitting and reading. This is strong enough to properly hold a book. The clips to hold pages in place works really well and it is easily adjustable for most places I use it. I'm very pleased.

It pivots, the page holders are flexible, the wood is nicely finished on the edges, the base is metal with hefty screws holding everything together and it adjusts both in height and angle. I love a well made object in and of itself and best of all it holds the 3 lb book (paperback) “The Power Broker” with ease. I have a feeling I’ll be using it for my iPad, cookbooks, and other reading materials. Thank you for making such a useful and beautiful book stand.

Hinge mechanism loosens and doesnt hold books, no way to tighten permanently since used screws/bolts as hinging mechanism

I compared several brands,this one is of the best quality among similar products I have ever seen,especially when placing thick books.It is a little more high than other similar products,it’s rotation is not too sensitive like other similar products,and it is more easier to move on the table than other similar products,and it is more steady than other similar products especially when placing thick books, it’s base is not as large as other products so it occupies a small area on the table.
