Flame is a little bigger than expected

The media could not be loaded. While the branding for this product might make you scratch your head, the product itself is actually quite solid. As you can see, this butane torch doesn’t come with a frosty big belt buckle, but it does have some simple features that make it a great addition to any kitchen.Unboxing gave me a few initial thoughts:1) This is fairly well constructed, not cheap feeling2) The size is perfect - not to big or too small3) Probably easier for a right handed individual to use if trying to adjust flame strength on the fly as the knob that controls it is conducive for a righty4) It has a safety which can prevent a lot of accidents5) The butane filling connectors gives versatility for fuel usageGrabbed my butane fuel (I used Ronson Multifill Ultra Butane Fuel - 5.82oz container) and began to fill the torch. First thing I notice is that there isn’t a fuel indicator anywhere so you don’t know when your getting low in use or full when filling. However, when it’s full, it will sputter a little on filling and you can stop. Turned it upright and clicked it through twice after turning off the safety and VOILA - we have a flame. The ease to adjust the flame was simple and small turns are very effective - it doesn’t take a lot of adjustment to go from flamethrower to candle lighter. I used it a few more times and tried it in a couple of different positions. When the torch was on its side, it had very poor flow and would sputter and stop firing. Turn it upright and it was back to normal.Knowing I will use this mostly for cooking and possibly some heat shrink wrapping for wiring, this will do the job very well. I like the safety features that will keep it from accidentally going off. Cons are angle of use, no fuel gauge, and seemingly right hand oriented only. It’s a great little tool and if you put it in your kitchen, it might become the next sherif in town 😁

This thing was good for a half tank of fuel, then it begins to burst forward with flames in excess of 2 feet! I had to stop using it all together for the sheer fear that this thing was going to blow the frick up!

I purchased this a few months ago and waited to review because many of these stop working in that time frame. This is a good one! Still going strong, no issues and the grip feels amazing.

Honestly one of the best torches I have used. It is good quality and I have had zero issues. Great price too! Very satisfied.
