The Dood Woof detangling spray has worked great on my two doodles with two different coat types. One has spiral curls when long that tries to tangle near his ears, the other has a wavy fleece coat that tangles on her back legs. Using this spray during our brushing sessions has helped get tangles out without pulling and has made grooming overall more enjoyable for all of us, and it came in handy after the bigger dog went swimming and air-dried with dirty tangled hair. A few sprits and some massaging got out his tangles behind his ears and on his neck. It smells like lavender, doesn’t leave any sticky residue on their coats and keeps them looking and feeling great.

Since Covid I've learned to groom my Cavapoo on my own. The key is no matting or knots, you have to be able to use a metal comb and successfuly comb through all their fur. Dood Woof helps me prep before and after bathing for a clean cut without any tangles, knots or matting. If Emmie's happy, I'm happy. Thanks Dood Woof!

My mini labradoodle gets a lot of kinks and knots in the fur covering his ears. It probably comes from all the rolling around he does on the carpet and the friction it creates. I bought this product hoping it would help with the stringy fur on his ears and the sometimes walnut-sized knots he gets. I will honestly say that the spray works well on his coat to make it much softer and easier to manage. My dog had a few small kinks around his paws and tail and I could definitely tell a difference after using the spray, BUT on the troubled spots, it didn’t do much at all. So my advice would be to use the spray to help with the conditioning and upkeep of their coats. Hopefully that will help prevent the extreme kinks that my dog had. So I don’t think this spray is some miracle formula that straightens hair. It definitely didn’t work like that for my labradoodle while using a slicker brush and metal combs. I will say that the smell is awesome and not too overpowering like some I’ve tried. My dog didn’t mind the scent when being sprayed. I wish it had worked a little better on the extremely tangled areas because the product is a bit pricey if all you’re using it for is removing kinks and tangles.

I have a large St. Berdoodle (Saint Bernard/Poodle mix) that I groom myself and I got this detangler and love it. It really does help with brushing and keeping it from getting matted. Highly recommend!

Makes cottony Sheepadoodle hair soft, but doesn't make removing knots as easy as advertised.

This spray is amazing! My doodle got out in the back yard and got into everything! She had mats in her tail and ears, and I wasn't sure what to do. I googled best detangling spray for doodles and Dood woof was #1 on the list. After a groomer posted a short video, I ordered a bottle for my Molly. I was able to get all the mats out before her grooming appointment. I'm so glad she didnt have to be shaved. I'll never be without this magic potion again. Btw, their customer service is over the top wonderful! Try it you will not be disappointed!
