This is perfect! My husband and I love being on the road and camping a lot. Long story short, we downsized cars 2 years ago which was fine but then we decided to expand our family and welcomed our fur baby. It took us out of the camping life all summer because we couldn't fit our tents & everything plus have room for her to be comfy. So, after an entire summer of cabins/hotels/etc. we decided we missed "roughing it" too much and bought this as a solution. It was super easy to put together and put on the car. Honestly, it was a little difficult loading the first time just because it was new to us and a bit awkward at first. But we figured it out quick and it fit SO MUCH! 10 man tent, 12x12 pop up tent, cornhole, 3 camping chairs, duffle bags, blankets & more. My husband grabbed the "basket part" and shook it hard, it shook the whole car, it wasn't going anywhere! It was super sturdy, light and not to mention super cute. The bag is heavy duty with a zipper all around and plenty of Velcro to keep it closed. It rained on us and nothing got wet. I saw a few mixed reviews about noise while driving, we had none, it was silent. Super happy with this purchase and it's going to be used a LOT.

Nice little roof rack. Good size for most needs. Easy to install and came with everything you would need to keep everything you are putting up top secured. Easy to fold up the bag when not in use. Used it on a trip when it was pouring rain and noted there was some water on the outside of one of the bags that was at the front of the rack (which would be what I would expect for just how hard it was raining) and everything else was dry, so happy with how waterproof the bag is. It stayed tight to my roof rack with no slipping my entire trip.

It all depends on how thick your cross bars are if they are thin bars put it on the rack to keep it in place will most likely not work other than that it looks lije a good quality rack

Great carrier that folds up to minimize width. The sturdy cover holds two coolers plus other items it comes with tie downs. I used my own bungees, and I put reflective tape on the carrier. Really allows for more room for a long travel and can easily be removed when not needed.

After a 5000+ mile cross country trek , I wanted to review this rack and storage bag. It was 100 percent water proof! We drove through several severe storms and were battered by some pretty heavy winds. All of our stuff that we had stored inside fared just fine. I would highly recommend this product. I usually don’t review products because I just don’t feel like it but this one was worth it!!! We will use it again should be ever decide to do another road trip!

This is, without a doubt, the worst product I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. I bought this roof rack basket because I no longer have a truck and needed reliable extra storage. I couldn’t find the model I previously owned, so I settled for this one—big mistake.First, the design is horrible. The bars don’t connect properly, leaving large gaps in the middle of the basket where they absolutely shouldn’t be. It looks ugly and feels flimsy right out of the box.Second, the bolts vibrate loose while driving—a massive safety hazard. I was forced to spend extra money on lock nuts from Lowe’s just to make it remotely usable. Even worse, the bolts are so cheap they SNAPPED during installation under minimal pressure. I have photo evidence of the broken bolt.Third, there is zero real security. The basket attaches to the roof rack using cheap plastic butterfly screws—yes, plastic! Anyone could walk up and unscrew this in seconds. There’s no proper support connecting it securely to the frame of the car.I paid around $300 for this trash. Honestly, it’s not worth more than $75—and even then, it would still be junk. This product is unreliable, unsafe, poorly engineered, and a complete waste of money. It should NOT be sold on Amazon or anywhere else.Do yourself a favor—DO NOT BUY THIS. Look for something better, because this isn’t it.
