I needed an adaptor that gave outlets ABOVE the socket and this does that beautifully. The USB outlets were a bonus, that I didn't need. The adaptor does NOT run hot, and both sockets are useable. Its feels substantial, and does the job for me.

Very handy when you have a lack of sockets. I also like the integrated USB charging ports.

Found the unit very good. I especially liked the fact that the socket sits above rather than the usual format of units which sit below the original wall socket. This allows you to use the extension unit if it sits above shelves that are normally where you need to get additional PowerPoint access.

Great adapter. I like the function of being able to switch one side off and not the other and the usb ports are super handy.

I have an old house with very low socket outlets. Plugging, for example, a vacuum cleaner in puts the cable under strain because it has to be at a 90 degree angle.For a quick fix until the sockets are raised, this device is perfect. The double sided sticky pads that comes with it are a useful addition. Once the adjusters are at correct length, the pads hold the device in position in the socket.

The USb sockets

Have this in the kitchen soUseful for charging various things without needing a plug each time. The sockets are pop on/off and the only thing that I feel could be better is the very tiny light that shows when each plug is on. Quite hard to see in daylight otherwise great. .
