Really pleased with the quality of this light. I was worried that for the price it may be a bit flimsy or the metal could be too thin (and so easily bent or damaged) but it feels really solid and sturdy. I like that you can arrange the rings where you want them (it arrives 'flattened' so you rotate the rings into position once out of the box), and like another reviewer mentioned, with an edison bulb this is going to look great! The paintwork is as expected and very like the photographs..a dry brush technique of a coppery bronze over black...from a distance this looks good but ours will be seen very close from a staircase beside it, so I am adding some rub'n buff over the top to refine it a little. The metal work and finishing caps (rather than just visible screws like some) really do make it look like a much more expensive light though which is why I have given it 5 stars...we are really chuffed with it!

This is a very stylish light fitting, particularly with an Edison bulb (not included) as shown in the Amazon listing.Fitting is fairly straightforward - there's a metal plate that screws into the ceiling - this really needs to be going into a rafter as the light fitting weighs approximately 1.3kg. Make sure the two bolts that hold the light base in place are in the bracket BEFORE screwing it into position as you cannot slide them in afterwards.The base attaches to the plate with two nut-like fixings. There's a generous amount of room in the base for cabling which is nice as sometimes on these type of units, it's really tricky to get everything in place.The light itself arrives flat and you need to rotate the rings into the required position. Have a protractor on stand by if you want them to be the perfect angles! There are three bolts that you can tighten once in position - suggest using locking pliers with some cloth or better rubber strips to prevent cosmetic damage to the nuts.The light is very solidly made and is very attractive - it delivers a great talking point for visitors!Highly recommended.
