RxPrep Course Book 2016 Edition A Comprehensive Course for the NAPLEX(R) and Clinical Content for the CPJE

I bought RxPrep to help prepare myself for taking my NAPLEX exam. I did some research online before finally deciding on this text, and I am glad I chose this text over the others available. It is a large book at over 1,000 pages, but what do you expect when you are reviewing four years of pharmacy school? The chapters flow nicely from one topic to the next, with the beginning chapters focusing on more non-therapeutics topics such as calculations, compounding, medication safety, etc. It then moves to herbals and OTCs into the disease states and drug therapies themselves. Each chapter is written simply with no confusing wording and is straight to the point. The later chapters with the disease states and drug therapies are great for review. They highlight the main points of the disease and the drugs are listed in nice tables and are broken down by class. Inside the table you will find generic and brand names, typical doses, warnings, contraindications, side effects, and any other pertinent information. As mentioned earlier, the information given is straight to the point and exactly what you need to know to be a great pharmacist. I highly recommend this text to anyone looking to prepare for the NAPLEX.

We were originally made to use a book that disappointed me over and over again. I finally decided my career was worth spending the money on this book. I have not been disappointed. Very thorough with all pertinent information. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a thorough NAPLEX review!

There is quite a bit of writing, but it is somewhat expected. It is in good condition.

This book has been great resource to study for the NAPLEX exam. It is very well written and organized. It covers all the topics well and gives great review questions. Definitely the best study tool I have found.
