Filters for the fridge are super pricey....a chance to order these for a Vine product review was not something I was passing up.PROS* price price price! At $41.99 for 3 filters you are saving over $100 compared to the brand name filtersCONS* no way for me to know for sure if they work as well but here's to hoping!!They are described as being identical in function as the brand name thing so I'm down. I put one in my fridge and after running the required water to clear it, I drank some and the water tastes great. And 2 days later I'm still here!! I grew up drinking water from the hose outside, playing in dirt, and using plastic container before BPA existed so in my book, after drinking water from this filter and still being here it means this is a great product and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who has to purchase filters and would like to save some money to buy things to put in the fridge too!

I bought this water filter to replace the old one in my refrigerator. It was easy to install and it works great. The water has a nice clean taste. The filter is rated to last for 200 gallons or about 6 months with normal use. My old filter lasted for more than 300 gallons. This filter is compatible with many refrigerator models. It is also cheaper than the original OEM filter, but it does not compromise on quality. I would buy this filter again. The box says to flush 4 gallons of water through the filter before using it for drinking. This will help clear out any odd filter taste.
