I have a few Philips smart locks around the house and I have become a big fan of them. All offer a boost in home security thanks to top tier design and build quality. This lock is no exception. Compared to the others I have, this is the "base" model. It doesn't have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth so you cannot be remotely locked or unlocked. Still, it's an excellent lock for those toying with the idea of a smart lock and don't want to spend a fortune. It allows you to ditch your keys to use a fingerprint or PIN code to unlock the door. Installation is easy and it will look good on your door too. All around, it's a solid, affordable lock that will upgrade any home.

Works well!! Love the ability to use either the fingerprint or the pin and the key as a back up. Easy menu for setup and changes. As noted in other reviews, fingerprint doesnt always work in cold weather. I like the fact that the keypad isn't lit up unless you want to see it.

The media could not be loaded. Great lock. My first keyless was the Amazon brand, and this lock is WAY better. The overall quality and build is strong and the face appears like glass in comparison to the matte finish.Setup was simple. App is only for one time codes. No other functions.The lock mechanism is super smooth. Locks and unlocks quickly with the fingerprint or with pin code.I wish it auto locked quicker. The shortest interval is 30seconds. Not necessarily a drawback. I suppose the Amazon version had shorter intervals to choose.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this lock for my parents' home and not only has it been working beautifully for the past months, but more importantly my parents absolutely love it! The fingerprint reader is amazing and makes their lives so much easier rather than fumble through keys and be worried about being locked out. The auto lock, entry code, and discreet backup manual key mode are wonderful extras. The lock is sleek and very modern and every guest to their home has commented how it is so impressive - in addition to the really helpful voice commands. Probably the BEST part of this lock (outside of the fingerprint reader) is the ultra-long duration of the batteries despite the heavy digital features - in contrast to our previous lock (Kwikset Halo touchscreen) that required battery changes every 6 weeks! The Philips brand name holds up to its reputation - do not go for one of the cheaper knockoffs for a foreign made lock, especially if you are concerned about reliability, durability, and security. Best front door entry lock hands down!

Im very disappointed because I bought this thinking of my young kids who walk to and from school and I didnt want to give them a key bc I thought they would lose it so I thought this was a great idea and I thought the fingerprint would be so convenient and easy for them to just put their finger and just come in. But we quickly realized it was making things more complicated. My kids would be at the door trying to scan their finger multiple times and the scan would fail. It happened to me too coming in with groceries tried to scan finger multilple times and i got very frustrated and cus after the 7th time i put my fingerprint the lock just blocked me out. There was no way to get it to work except with the key. Thank god i had the keys on me.I never write reviews but i had to on this one. Im returning since i just bought a regular coded one, amazon brand, it was $30 and it works perfect

Much better than expected. Easy to install, easy to program. Quality build all around.

EDIT: Company stands by their products and therefore I changed my review from 3 to 5 stars.I just installed this and it took me less than 30 minutes which is nice. All the features appear to work as they should (fingerprint, master code, auto lock, etc.). However, the deadbolt itself feels pretty cheap, as does the manual lock when twisting it to lock. As others mentioned, the automated voice is almost useless since it’s so quiet. With the play in the deadbolt due to its weak feel, I wonder how secure the lock really is. However, I do have my security camera focused on this door so that is peace of mind. Still, for the price, I would think the lock itself should feel more sturdy. After all, the purpose of this is to have a lock and secure your home…
