Very happy with this simple and easy to use

Poor instructions and does not work despite following instructions several times and getting a 2nd replacement device to test it out again. Did not detect even the baby monitor camera and phone cameras. Amazon never posted my first review since I gave this product a poor rating while all others were 5 stars. Hope this gets posted as it paints the true picture

Right off the bat I found a better price also on Amazon for the same item. $25 with 10% discount and twice the reviews at the time of writing this review. So there's that.I thought the 4/5-in-one gadget was pretty enticing but I realised that honestly all I cared about was the Infared light and lens. The IR detector was really inconsistent so I don't see myself being able to use it effectively in a real-world scenario e.g. in a hotel room that I've never step foot in before. In my home, where I know where all my internet devices are I am already having trouble getting the device to work consistently. What does work consistently is the IR detector which I believe I can a standalone device for that costs way less.And not so much about this product in particular, but even using the infrared is not as easy as I thought it would be. If you are off a certain angle from the camera (I tested on my webcam, echo show, ipad, etc.) then you won't see the red light. And you can get false positives easily on really reflective surfaces too.The LED light feature was useless to me because I would just use my phone for that. The vibration thing I don't find useful either.I will be returning this item.

Trips too easily,

This device is very accurate when tested for a spy camera, and other radio waves, has dual band which works finally. I have tried several other detectors but this has more accuracy with good sensitivity range of detection.
