Don’t buy it
I had already few of them Brz and I must admit that this is the worst one. It is not what the reviews claim. The bad air detection doesn’t work practically up until five minutes. You can blow cigarettes on its smoke or pure dust and it won’t react for a very very long time, not like other ones. It’s very loud. The app is basic because it doesn’t show you the levels of filtration during the day is just a switch on and off app. I don’t like it and I am returning it.

I had to return it after a few months. Hardly used but when we did it was releasing a smell that smelt faulty. Amazon refunded.

Please read - especially the 2nd part
2 things of note: There is no point in doing a review as it cannot be better than the one titled "Six Year Old Review"!!! I want that to be a YouTube channel. Best original content EVER. She is awesome - I want to see more reviews for products I'd never buy lol "At first I thought it was a bin, then, a toilet..." , "You can see that the air is nice & fluffy" Brilliant work to whichever parent helped. The other point is that these reviews are for 2 different products at 2 very different price points. All merged in one place?!? I've had the smaller one for 6-8m and it's definitively cleared the air and produced a better working area. Point to note: An ADHD colleague came into my office and not knowing about this unit immediately said, "What have you done?" There may be no correlation but thought I'd add it. I was just looking for an answer for something about lights on it, but then I saw THAT video review...

Very good puriifier and looks great
The media could not be loaded. The DH Lifelabs Sciaire Air Purifier is both sleekly attractive and functionalFirst impressions were that this purifier looks superb - a sleek silvery tapered tower design the polar opposite from an industrial box. The air quality glow light at the top is visible from anywhere where it's in your line of sight, and tells you your air quality status at a glance. The openings at the top also act as handles to move it about. The purified air comes out of the top.The operation is easy and intuitive. Turning on and off give pleasant tones. (These are the only jingles - any more would be annoying.) The main three fan settings offer a good range of air flow. The noise is noticeable at the higher settings, but it'll be working to clean up the air and allow the lowest setting. (This is all automatic with the Auto turned on.) In fact we found that we only used the highest setting for a short time when placing the purifier in a new location, so that most of the time it was on the lowest setting. The night time mode is very quiet and I would say not even noticeable. The video should give an idea of the different mode sounds as well as purifier operation. We have not used the wifi feature. The plasma function, which sends out ions into the room, is not of course noticeable directly. However there is a lot info out there on the benefits of this to research and we felt it was good. Moreover the (clear and concise) user manual states that it produces a safe level of ozone, where you might not trust a cheap device in this respect. After using it for some time we've found that there is a good improvement in air quality. We find that we don't need to use it continually - but rather to give the air an extra "freshening" when needed such as when a particular room is dusty or the outside air is poorer. As an aside the unpacking was interesting. Tabs on the outer brown cardboard box push in create handholds. However it turned out that this pushes in matching tabs on the inner product box preventing it from sliding out of the outer box. This stumped us for a few minutes.Setting up is easy. Simply remove the filter cover and replace the filter after taking off it's plastic dust wrapper.
