I have a few necklaces, bracelets and earring sets with a gold bow shape design. I do not care for stud earrings in this style. The earrings I have are either too small or too heavy. I was searching for a pair of earrings with a larger sized bow that was visible, yet professional enough to wear to work. These pair of earrings are the perfect size. Large enough to be visible, yet not too large to be flashy. The "gold" has been mistaken for "real gold" and did not leave any discoloration on my ears. The bonus was that the earrings were incredibly light weight. The only problem I had with this jewelry is that the back portion of each earring is a small clear plastic backing. On many earring sets I own, I actually prefer this type of fastener and it works quite well. However, I noticed on the first wear of these bow dangle earrings that the clear back fasteners were a bit loose. I was careful to press the fasteners as close to my ears as possible to attempt to better secure each earring. This worked a few times. A few times, the earring still fell out, but I was able to retrieve it and reinsert the earring. I recently took a trip to a colder climate. I was wearing a scarf and wool coat. After the flight, I discovered that one of the earrings had come loose and fallen out of my ear. Any snag from clothing or hair can cause the earring to fall out. I searched the aisle and my seating area on the plane and was not able to find the earring. I still have one, but am unable to enjoy wearing this set any longer without the matching earring. I was very disappointed as the style and quality of the jewelry is great. Not so great, however, if you cannot wear the earring

Every holiday season, I always get so many compliments on these earings. They are very comfortable in my ears and have held great quality after having them for two years. I don't wear them all that often, but either way they have remained in good condition and my ears have had no irritation.
