The right choice
I had to hire someone to install it, it is not a simple install. But it looks terrific and is a very cost effective option, I don't see why one would need more. It is not meant to be in the lowered position all the time, I prefer its simplicity to the others I saw. I was getting quoted 7k to do custom installs - no way. Finally, if you're on the fence about why this and not a sofa bed or something more ergonomic, bear in mind you might be saving a good mattress by using this murphy bed, and you and your guests will appreciate that over any substitute.

Best investment ever
This was the best investment for an office/guest bedroom it hides in a cabinet when not in use and pulls down with ease and very comfy with the right mattress and bedding also contacting the seller was super easy. They were very pleasant and accommodating.

Happy with product
Packaging was above average , box was ripped but all parts were secure. Parts and instructions were well laid out. This bed frame takes time to assemble. The quality of the product is good. It’s really well made. I’m very happy with it .

Excellant product.
A very well designed plan for a DIY Murphy bed. The instruction are easy to understand but more detail needs to be shown on a couple steps. A little detailed explanation on some of the steps rather than just the pictures.I took my time and it took 3 days to assemble. It is recommended that you read thru the manual once before starting the build.I highly recommend this product.

Just what we needed.
Product looks better than the picture. It took 10 hours to put together. Instructions not the best after third page.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
NEVER AGAIN! This company was absolutely HORRIFIC to work with! Product came in 3 boxes, noticed 2 different colors and a piece was missing…no problem. Sent the missing pieces only to discover a whole box was missing. Customer service then tried to charge me $208 for the missing box! It was no less than 25 emails between myself, Bestar customer solutions, Amazon, and Bestar customer service and countless back & forth we finally got a refund after dealing with this for almost a month!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Damaged when received.
This Murphy bed took about 5 hours to build with skilled men putting it together. Photos show it was damaged when we unpacked it. What can be done to compensate us for this damage? I don’t want to try to pack it up and send it back. That would be unreasonable. I would accept a new panel for the front or a 1/3 discount to be completely satisfied and give a 5 star review.
