I used these 3/4 inch couplers on my HVAC water pan to connect to the pvc drain line. Would suggest using a lubricant on the connection to aid in removal in the future instead of cutting the old ones off.

Not fit for irrigation repairs. I purchased this item to repair a leak in a poly pipe. After affixing the coupler as specified, I turned on the system for no more than 5 seconds to test. As background, I am on well water, so water pressure is average at best. The water pressure blasted a hole in the center of the coupler. Subsequently, I went to my local HW store and purchased an identical looking coupler that, by feel, seemed to be 2x to 3x more than firm than this item. Save your money!

Not sure on this item yet. Bought (2) to repair 1" sprinkler line. Was easy to install but first one split apart. So, on my second attempt, this time I put an additional clamp in the middle (3 in a row) so far it's holding.

Easy to remove if the need arises.
