First let me say that if you’re shopping for a rug for your upscale living room, this one is probably not for you. If you’re looking for something for your kiddo’s room, your pets, the garage, etc. then this will be a great fit. This is not luxury. It’s faux luxury at a decent price! We got the black 8x10 for my daughter’s room and she’s in love. When putting in a kid’s room you don’t want expensive because “this is why we can’t have nice things” they ruin everything. The fibers are silky and soft and a bit slippery. I imagine that will fade with time and use. It’s a thin rug that’s very light. Easy to carry. Easy to move. Easy to adjust. Easy to shake out. There are nonslip things on the bottom but we have ours on a rug pad anyway. (If you want a cushier feel then get a deep rug pad and that way you can change out the rug anytime you want while keeping the rug pad the same.) The black is vibrant and a deep black. It came shrink wrapped and folded. We had to wait a few days to open ours so when we did, it did have fold creases and puffy spots. After letting it settle for a couple of hours and my daughter rolling around on it those disappeared. Ours didn’t have a bad odor but I sprayed a light coat of fabric spray anyway. All in all, a good purchase for us and I would recommend for anyone that wants an inexpensive faux luxury item!

This rug is beautiful, super soft, and nice to walk on with bare feet. It arrives folded and vacuum packed and is fairly light weight. But it opens up nicely and turns into a fluffy, attractive addition to any room. And the price is amazing!

Purchased this rug for my 7 year olds room to warm up his wood floors. The color, quality, and size are great for the price. It is nice enough that it doesn’t come off cheap yet inexpensive enough that if my kids mess it up I will buy a new one. My 2 year old and 7 year old are natural born destroyers and this carpet has held up very well. I have spot cleaned it twice and the texture has not messed up like other shag rugs I have had.

This is superb for the price! It has a non-slip backing, it’s soft and comfortable. If you are a person who loves soft textures, this will be you next best friend! I couldn’t stop stroking it! I wanted in position right away, that I pulled out the broom swept and mopped the area just so it could be down! If I had to complain about anything, it would be that I couldn’t get it out of the packaging quick enough. And I bought two! Oh the joy I now have walking in my home now, slippers off and barefeet to enjoy the softness!I love it! Already planning on getting two more!

I was looking for a living room rug to go in front of the couch, under the coffee table. My apartment is a bit older, and the carpeting is worn, so I like buying my own rugs both for the visual appeal and a better texture under my feet. This one is nice looking and very soft. Would recommend.

This rug replaced a washable rug I purchased elsewhere. It’s soft with nice padding and stays put. I can even use my Dyson without it eating the rug. I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price I paid.
