I bought this barndoor for my room but it arrived with the wrong piece and I contacted the manufacturer and they responded quickly and sent me the new piece but also all the hardware which was crazy but thank you, when I installed the barn door later I realized that it didn't cover the entire opening but it was my fault because I didn't measure the width well and then I contacted the manufacturer to see if they could send me extra parts and they responded so quickly and told me it was no problem that they would send me what I needed and the most incredible thing is that it arrived so quickly, the customer service is very efficient, I still have another room that needs this barn door and I will definitely order more doors which are very high quality and very beautiful, I only give you one suggestion, assembling the barndoor is easy but to put it on the wall you have to be very handy and have mechanical skills or have someone to install it.

Solid doors, heavy, nice wood. Easy to put together and put up, no problem at all. Shipping great!

Part missing and door damaged

I bought the double, 38" door set with 13' long top rail. First, the instructions are VERY well done, clear, and correct. One thing they don't outline up front is to may need a header board to mount the rail to depending on your wall. Our studs are 16" on- center but they don't line up with the holes in the rail. I bought a 1"x4"x16' primed board and cut it down to 13' 2" so I could have a visible edge on the ends.The most difficult part of the installation is the rail. I did this install by myself and each rail is 6.5 feet long so it was challenging mounting it and getting it level. Pro-Tip: If you get the level close but find the gap between the doors isn't even, loosen the first 3 mounting bolts on the rail slightly. Adjust the rail up or down by pulling on it until the gap between the doors is even, then re-tighten the rail. This worked perfectly.The only downside is the overall height dimension in the instructions don't with well with carpet, so the doors drag the carpet but the pile is loose and tall on our carpet so it's OK.Last note: The spacer/bumper between the doors is 1-5/8" wide. This creates a 1-5/8" wide gap between the doors when closed. I eliminated the bumper and just used stick on, clear round bumpers. They are low profile so the doors nearly close completely.This buy is an A+++!

These doors are heavy and great quality. A lot of the reviews said the assembly was easy and it is but it's very time consuming with having to level everything so it ended up being a whole days project and lots of trial and error. There is a small gap at the bottom, the doors don't quite meet, but I think that's user error on our part but I'm not really concerned about it. It looks so nice and I plan to paint the 1×8 white later on and I'll be adding a lock to the inside because we needed it for our bedroom door that was an odd size (44×83) and this works perfectly. This probably would be a lot simpler for someone who does stuff like this regularly but it's definitely doable. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out.

These doors are great and look/operate perfectly. The only issue I have is with a bumper designed to be installed at the center of the rail. Two problems with the bumper. First, there is a rail connection point at the center of the rail and that is where I would want to install my center bumper. You cannot install this bumper where there is a connection point. Second, that bumper is too wide for this particular door set. If I had installed that bumper, my doors would not fully close. Mine is the double 18" doors. I was able to purchase a smaller bumper elsewhere (but still had to modify that one) that keeps the doors from traveling too far and slipping off my floor guides.

Great product! High quality materials. Hardest part was getting the measurements accurate from the floor to the rail. The instructions were spot on. Tip: do not tighten the door stop ends before you assemble the floor door guides. Highly recommend this product. Great value for a quality product.
