I'll admit: I wasn't expecting much for this price. I'm pleasantly surprised. I used to have a full fiber studio and am just starting to rebuild it.The carders are much smaller than most versions you'll find for wool-working, but they seem sturdy and they make very nice little rolags, which is what matters. I use a wooden dowel to help roll them because I like my rolags spun extra tight.The drop spindle is moderately heavy, good for spinning any but very fine yarn. It has an unfinished surface but that can be added easily, if wanted.I've only used them for a couple of days but I've noticed no issues with quality or durability; they do everything I want them to do. Overall, I don't think you can do better without being prepared to spend at least twice as much.

This listing had everything I needed for me to start spinning yarn but it had zero reviews. I bought it anyway and I'm happy with my product ☺️ the spindle is actually really nice and well made and it has a nice weight to it. The carders are also well made. I think this set is great for beginner like me.

It worked but the hook on the top was not straight, so sometimes the yarn would accidentally slip out from the hook. The brushes were pretty good.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter- she’s been very happy with it and has been making her own yarn from her various yarn remnants.

One of my brushes came damaged though I believe that may be an amazon issue versus a manufacturer issue. The bag looks like it had been resealed with tape near where the brush was messed up.Otherwise they seem to basically do their job I mostly bought it for the spindle and to learn how to spin so it works for now.

I was spinning for the first time, and the hook fell off of the drop spindle. Unfortunately, the hole where it screws in is stripped. I also waited too long to try spinning to return it.

I bought this because it was what I could barely afford but instead of working it just makes me feel more incompetent and incapable. It's like a pretend set, not the read deal. Very sad and disappointed.
