High quality. Easy long term, stackable water storage.
Bought these for severe weather preparedness. Looking to support a smaller business. Love how these stack together like Legos! Provided handles make transport easier. Easier to carry each brick than a huge drum. Can be stacked anywhere and everywhere. Highly recommend for your preparedness needs!

Good product with some reservations
I purchased these to keep a backup supply of water for emergencies. The last time they shut off our water (for bacterial contamination) we bought piles of the spring water bottles. After a few years those bottles collapsed, so we deemed them unsafe to consume and got rid of them. The Water Bricks are designed for safe storage, so we have purchased some for that purpose. All in all, this looks like a good product. There is one construction characteristic which is important and not made apparent in the product description. There are two pillars inside of the container that make it impossible to get a hand all the way inside. They are obviously there to provide structural support, so not a bad thing. But they do get in the way of cleaning the container. You can see that there is a hole through the container where the pillar is located.Another issue is that it is difficult to get all of the water out of the container because the outlet hole is recessed into the top of the container. When the hole is facing down, there are places under the outlet where the water pools and will not come out. This probably not much of a problem during a water emergency because it doesn't retain much water. But after I scrubbed the brick with soapy water, I wanted to make sure that I got all of the soap out of it. Vigorous shaking and turning the brick over several times seems to have worked. When full of water, each water brick weighs 30 pounds according to my bathroom scale. The handles are easy to install when the cap is off of the container. You do that by putting one hook through its hole, and then flipping the handle over to place the other hook through its hole. When the cap is screwed onto the water brick, it is difficult to maneuver the handle to remove the hooks from the holes. I view this as a feature rather than a defect because it will keep the handle from inadvertently falling off the container and getting lost while the brick is in storage.I cannot speak to leakage of the lids because I will store these upright, with the handles on top. This looks like a good product for our intended purpose of storing emergency water. For other uses, your mileage may vary.

Stackable and easy to handle since full (3 1/2 gallons) they are easy to handle.
Perfect for our emergency water supply needs. We bought 8 that would provide 2 weeks of water for the two of us. They stack and were able to find a place in our laundry room to keep them and they are out of the way.

I feel prepared for emergency
Very well made, not too heavy when full. I have 8 stacked in my pantry. I feel more ready for an emergency.

Units leaking - The cap seal seems to be a poor design.
These seem sturdy and stacked as advertised, however, 2 out of the 16 (13% failure rate) we ordered leaked making them useless for long-term storage while stacked horizontally, which is their supposed whole unique value proposition. Seems to me that the seal design is pretty poor. I would be worried about the chances of these leaking after being refilled in anything other than a pristine environment. Also it is not just about keeping liquids in, but as any packaging engineer will tell you - also about keeping air out to protect from contamination and oxidation. There are thousands of proven designs for water storage container lid seals (just look at any military-grade water container) why they chose this one is baffling. I'm sure that the old bush mechanic trick of cutting a gasket from the floor mat of their truck in a pinch would work, but out of the box, something like this should just work!2 weeks after reaching out to the supplier about a replacement for the defective seal - crickets!!! I guess I will have to order replacement seals for $10 each to secure my water storage and hope that these are not defective too. Pretty poor show for a company that bills itself on their website as <b>"The World's Best Water Storage Containers" </b>and that less than 1% of containers that leak???????????4 weeks after reaching out to them in various ways - not a single sign of a response - CRICKETS. I have ordered some replacement caps from AquaBrick to see if these will work. I tried a water spigot cap from them that seemed like it will work. Why do I have to fix the problem by using a competitor's product???Update - 11/24/24 - Still NO RESPONSE from Waterbrick!!!!! I received the replacement caps from Aquabrick promptly and they fitted fine. After testing them I had a leak on one, which was cured by cinching them down pretty hard and they are now doing fine. I will not be buying more Waterbricks.

Excellent design
Good stackability, right size to be carried when full, no leaking. I did notice a significant smell of plastic inside when I received them. I rinsed them out and aired them out before adding water to store. I’ll check them in a month and see if the plastic smell/taste has permeated the stored water.
