Performance:I am really happy about buying this product. The Pioneer HTP072 receiver VSX 324 which i own is a bit quiet on the highs and mids.... combining with this pre amp... the music quality is now appealing.... go for it..well built body too.take your time in installing the valves.. slight adjustments might be needed for it's terminal legs to fit into the socket...tweezers or needle nose pliers recommended..

I have been following fosi products. There are mixed reviews on Reddit and youtube some just branding it as cheap chifi setups. I wanted a Bluetooth transmitter and I was eyeing on fiio but that was costly so this was another option. I didn’t need an amplifier though. So this preamp was a good option. I personally like old vintage songs and warmth. So tube amps were a good option for me. The only question was whehter the build quality and sound quality would be good?Once I received, I connected it to my studio monitors and I could understand the warmth from the tubes. Then I listened to it by connecting on my IEMs, warmth is noticeable. The music becomes more enjoyable to hear. Soundstage is not that wide. But the bass and treble controls are really nice. Bass noticeably gets boosted at 12 o clock position.The volume button increases non linearly. It has enough amplification for IEM that I never get past the 12 o clock position, so I guess it would be able to drive full sized headphones also. One con would be when there is no electricity and when I play it on the inverter there is a hissing sound (some kind of weird earthing issues Iguess, because same thing happens for my studio monitors also)Conclusion - it has impressed me with the sound quality and build quality. Maybe better tube amps will be out there but this one is a good starting point.

I wouldn't say this is a proper tube pre - it's mainly a tube buffer. But for its price and build, it's a really good starting point for adding a bit of depth and control to your sound. I use it for vinyl listening and personally I like the EQ controls and separation it adds to the sound more than anything.PS - It doesn't add any colour to the audio so if that's what you're looking for then you'll need to go for an entirely different product and surely something more expensive.

Just mind blowing change in sound quality .. previously I was using cheap bluetooth dongal with my sony amp.. but after installing this the sound quality change like day and night.. tone control is also decent ..also little bit expensive , Note: I am using sony hi-res amp and bluetooth connected with apx-hd .. make sure u have have good equipment to get good result .. !!

The media could not be loaded. Small, built well and a no nonsense preamp with bluetooth. Treble bass controls could have been bigger with better feedback. And the off function should be in the middle that way I can turn on off it without going through multiple clicks. It matches well with my A07 max and A5 pro
