Liquidraw® Triangle Quilting Ruler, Clear Acrylic Template, Imperial (30° 9.5" Ruler / 45° 6.5" Ruler) (45° 6.5")

Bought this to make octagonal quilt blocks, but discovered when I got to using it that something wasn't right. The inch gradations didn't match my fabric strip when they really should have. Accuracy is important in quilting, so I ordered a Creative Grids ruler (from their own site) and compared the two when it arrived. The difference is significant. In the photo, the left ruler is Creative Grids, the right is the Liquidraw purchased from Amazon. It turned out that the Liquidraw ruler's markings are misplaced by a good 1/8", which could cause much frustration if combined with pieces that were cut accurately. Give this one a miss, get a ruler from a reputable brand.

I made bunting ready for the arrival of my first little grandson. The template was small - perfectly suited for a baby's nusery. I will use this again and again - it is thick and sturdy and does not move or bend when cutting around it with a rotary cutter.
