Great piece of art here, Hallmark does not disappoint and actually excels in this category of ornaments themed by video game or video game console related. I currently own this one, the Nintendo, Siper Nintendo and Sega Genesis. Classic collectibles that I had to buy more than one of each because I retain one of each in their original box as a collectible. They are all amazing and provide sounds and lights which makes these so perfect and nostalgic.The sounds and lights are what makes these great and certainly locked me in. If you grew up with these consoles, you will certainly appreciate and enjoy them that much more! A+++

We bought several of these and the mini nintendo ones too. Only some of them had batteries though, so Amazon and supplier needs to do a better job and assuring batteries are present in the packaging. Several of the people we gave these to did not realize they played any sounds, because apparently inside the packages, there were no batteries. One that we kept for ourselves had only a loose battery pack in the box, but had one battery missing. These little watch batteries are expensive and we would have expected those to be included in every one. They were supposed to be, but a few were missing. Otherwise, still worth the money and we'll be playing this every year. The jingle is so fun, hard to set the darn thing down.Hallmark and manufacturer notes: Is there a special reason this only plays one jingle? Shouldn't there be a dial or something where we could choose from jingles from a dozen different classic games? That would be better. Still pretty great though.

This ornament is by far one of my most favorite gifts that I've ever gifted someone. My husband has been a Sonic fan as long as I can remember. We were best friends as kids and I fondly remember him sitting in front of a tiny TV for hours, attempting to beat (and definitely doing so!) the next Sonic level he was on. I never was good at Sonic, but watching someone's love for something is so cool and he's great at the game. Watching him open this ornament was no-pun intended, next level for me.The quality of it being a Hallmark ornament was over-the-top. It's so detailed and perfectly sized. The sounds are identical to the beginning of the original game - at least I think that's what my husband said. Haha. His eyes lit up and he remarked on how identical it is. He actually keeps it on his desk when it's not the Christmas season, since he has a Sonic light there as well. This is the perfect Sonic keepsake for the Sonic fan in your life - they need it!

This is great I used to have one back in 1999. Unfortunately not a well built machine and I no longer do but I have this for Christmas and it’s a great nostalgic piece

I've had a weird fixation with Dreamcast ever since I was a little kid. It was the first system I ever bought with my own money. Now I've spent the better part of the last 2 1/2 decades remembering it fondly. This little fella sits on my desk and reminds me of all the fun little adventures I went on back in the Dreamcast days.The nostalgia hits hard with this little thing. If you're a Dreamcast person, you know who you are, buy it. It's fun.

I almost couldn't believe my eyes. an accurate micro version of the original, first-generation Sega Genesis! One of the most adorable little items I've ever seen. I own the Genesis mini and I thought THAT was cute! LOL!This little guy is intricately, painstakingly detailed - and lovingly so, I'd say. I am highly impressed with the accuracy of the design. Every detail of the original unit is captured in this model - every single side is accurate. They even sculpted the rear video connectors (with labels!!!). Atop sits a Sonic The Hedgehog game cart with a pair of controllers that rest on the top of the unit - all excellently detailed. They even kept the headphone jack and volume slider on the front. Awesome!!!There is a door on the bottom for a battery (included with my unit). I figured it would just turn on some lights for effect. No, it plays music and sounds from the Sonic The Hedgehog game! Sweeeeeeet!Seriously, this thing is super cool and super cute - well worth the purchase. I can imagine these ornaments, when sold out, will most likely go up in value. They are so very well crafted, especially for being mass-produced miniature reproductions of an already highly-intricate and precisely designed gaming system.I also bought the NES and Super Nintendo models and they are similarly awesome with equally high levels of quality and detail!

I just had to buy this ornament. My kids sure loved Playing the Sega theme song. If they only knew the nostalgia, their father was having.

Great addition for the Christmas Tree if you are into Old school classics and retro gaming. Glad I found it on Amazon and was able to add to my collection.

I love this ornament! It comes with batteries that you put in and it sings the song that SEGA did. Brought back so many memories. I bought a few for different family members. I would like to get the whole collection! One thing to note is it didn’t come with something to hang it with. But overall GREAT product.
