Steel Stair Riser 2 Pack, 1-Step Steel Stair Stringer for Outdoor Steps

I got this so pups could use for pool access and watching us. I know not normal reason lol and I got a step to long but it works! It seems to be sturdy as I have gone up a few times and I'm sure the grands will climb to jump in pool when they visit. It was really pretty easy to assemble even for this over 60 women. Of course I had to buy the steps separately from local store drilling holes and getting them attached was a bit harder then got help moving it into place. But I love the way it looks and am thinking of trying my hands at a deck to attach it to next possibly. I do put boogie boards on it so pups don't get in pool when unsupervised.

I am impressed with how sturdy these are. They are worth the money and then some. Good quality and easy to install. I will be ordering more to change the steps on my back porch.

The item was easy to install but is designed for one solid piece of wood for the step. It is not suitable for smaller pieces for the treads as there are only two holes per metal frame. I installed it as a secondary step off my Trex deck. The standard Trex plank width is too small and the metal piece would have to be modified to install (ie more holes). This step lands on a gravel area so I used some 16 inch stepping stones as the landing pad.

These were perfect for our new deck. We used different screws/bolts than the ones that came with it bc they weren't working for us. Way better than buying the wood stringers.

Not a great product. I bought this new and it looks used. Lots of chips and bent pieces. To top stair on one side is bent on the pie e that attaches to the house, making it impossible to properly install. It was also missing the nuts that screw onto the fix bolts to attach the top stair to the bottom stairs. Returning this item. It is not usable in the condition it was sent.
