These were a perfect fit the recessed lights that they match. The holes from my previous can lights were just slightly bigger and these worked great

Almost perfect for an imperfect world
If you have installed canless lights into older can light holes, you know these are a life saver. There are so many different styles of can light fixtures and they can vary in original size of the opening. These are now a staple in my work trailer. The look is clean after installing too. Almost looks like part of the light. However....While these are great, they only fit perfectly for about half of the style canless lights we install. Some of the canless lights have small mounting screw bumpouts around the edge and can interfere with these mounting flat. I have found I need to modify the inter part of the ring to make them fit. Usually what I do is make one and use it as a template for the remaining. Its much easier to modify these rings than it is to repair drywall.

Work great but white is an off white
These worked great for covering up the what the new recessed LED lighting wasn’t covering from the previous canned lighting holes. My only complaint is the white of the rings was not a bright white light the recessed lighting housing and the white was a little off color. Although most people probably won’t notice, it does bug me. I know I’ll forget about it or get use to it over time because it’s a lot cheaper then paying someone to come in and repair drywall around 14 canned lighting holes. I would still recommend if you’re looking to save money and cover up gaps or holes.

Don’t GOOF…get the goof rings!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Such a simple fix when you have unsightly rough drywall cutouts in your ceiling from par can light installation! Definitely a plus to not have to look at light bulbs anymore.

Not true white
Its not white its off white does not match lights or recess light will be returning, fit is good thou
