The american brand that manufactured it outsourced its production overseas, china to be specific. The product has downgraded since then. Not for my beard anymore. The conditioner too was totally trash. The wash totally toasted my beautiful foot long beard in a single wash. I was worried that i would've to shave it, beard was completely dried out, frizzy and roughed. But after generous overnight castor oil applications and scissor chopping an inch of every split & damaged hair i somehow managed to save it. The fragrance used is same as in lizol sandal floor/bathroom cleaner 🤣Amazon refunded the amount i spent on this after i complained about it. But honestly speaking even if they paid 50x that amount i wouldn't be happy if had to chop down my beard. For the last 15 years i have kept it and never shaved down completely since i began to grow a beard.
