This ironing board is okay to use. I noticed that the ironing surface audibly and visibly buckles when an iron on igh heat setting is applied. This does not impede the ironing process, but is something that I noticed and thought that I should point out. Basically, it shouldn't do that. But the board is fit for purpose and the board is otherwise sturdy and light with an adjustment mechanism that makes it an overall pleasure to use and store. Would recommend. Just remember, based on other reviews, to ensure that the board has no dents in the legs or elsewhere before you accept the delivery! Mine was fine on first physical inspection!

I decided to replace my cheap supermarket ironing board with a new one and was not disappointed. This Vileda ironing board has a good height range (full extension should suit a tall person). The cable for the iron doesn't get trapped between the board and the iron stand (it did with my old board). The cover is adequately padded, which provides a good ironing surface. The Pink board being much cheaper than the Blue, meant that I got the board at a really good price.
