It's an irregular polyhedron made of triangles. Most faces are hexagonal, two have four sides and a couple of others have five. I'd thought it was an icosahedron, but it's not, but you have to look closely to realise it! I'm a bit puzzled how it was put together! Very nice piece of work, my compliments to the welder!

Item arrived really well packaged, inside a small box wrapped in bubble wrap.I love quirky items like this geometric inspired ornament, they add something a little different to your home and not only look great on its own but turn on some lights and the shadows it casts onto walls is really interesting and bring another dimension to this object.Sits nicely just about anywhere you place it and its light enough to move around as and when you feel like it. I'm thinking of adding some copper wire led lights to mine for the festive season.Well made with no sharp edges. Not much more I can say as this piece speaks for itself, love it!

Every time I placed this item on a flat surface it rolled over

The product image had this perfectly propped up on it's bottom/top point, stood up right. Which showcases all sides uniformly which is what I liked. But in reality that won't happen. It has to be positioned slightly off centre. Played about and found an angle that worked.I guess this is more of a preference. And if you are not overly concerned then it will sit happy on a flat surface.The metal is smooth, dull points between the connecting rod welds. Minimises the risk of children hurting themselves if they get hold.They triangles do not 100% line up in certain places, however this feels more of a handmade item then one churned off a production line.Pros/cons+ Nifty, well built and strong. Definitely a talking piece.- Dusting this will be fun.Price was 18.99 at the time.
