Well worth the money. They are very bright and light up large area

I am pleased with the lights. I used all 6 to illuminate my 7' x 17' shed. Before they arrived I anticipated probably needing a few more to finish the job but 6 are enough. I installed them above eye level so I wouldn't have to look directly at them. Also, although 13 watts doesn't sound like much they draw 6.5 amps all together, which is significant. Since this is a battery/solar system and I may forget to turn them off, I control the circuit and with a mechanical timer switch. I'll add a cover plate for the switch.

So there's two ways to mount these. Each light comes in its own box with a strip of foam mounting tape, and a teeny zipper bag of 4 teeny screws. (The 8 pack is 8 of these individual boxes taped together into a brick)The tape seems to be fine quality, but its only about half as wide as the light, so if you want it to be stable and secure, you really need 2 strips per light... So you'll probably need a roll of your own foam tape to go this route.The screws.... are inconsistent. They obviously came from 2 different batches. 2 lights came with bright colored screws that were a bit rough, almost like they were cast (The screw on the left in the pic). 6 lights came with slightly darker colored screws that were very smooth (The screw on the right in the pic). EVERY SINGLE ONE of the bright rough screws I tried twisted off before it even seated being driven slowly into plywood. Literally has the torsional strength of a toothpick. I've got 4 of the ****ty ones broken off in the wall of my van, I threw the other 4 away. (Is there such thing as an imitation screw?) The 24 darker ones all worked like you would expect normal metal screws to do and are holding up lights.As for the lights themselves, they are interior only, which is fine for me, but you would drive yourself mad trying to make one of these watertight. The button has a nice solid click to it, the lights are nice and bright, sadly cool white like most LED stuff. The backing plate is metal, so will act a bit as a heatsink for the LED board. I've got 8 of them mounted inside of a 16 foot box truck that's a rolling workshop, and its plenty bright in there.Despite the sad state of the included mounting, you could easily throw the screws away and still be getting a great deal on some nice interior lights that you need to get a bag of screws for. I bet the RV store wouldn't sell you ONE interior light for this price.

so i bought these for a fishing cart, so that i can light up part of the beach while im out fishing at night. lets say that these lights are just way too much for what im looking for. to be honest, these would make great lighting for a decent size room. a single light in the correct position will in fact light up our entire living room (15ftx20ft) comfortably and be able to read. a single light ran with an 18v battery, projected the light about an easy 50-75 yards out over the top of the water and i was able to read the name on the side of a river barge, i was able to see the deadbolt on the door of the cabin for the barge as well, the lights are amazingly bright. the 2 lights that came in the pack, will light up your workbench, crawlspace, attic, rv, shed, back porch, a decent sized yard, for what you pay, you get A LOT OF LIGHT

Nice product, better than expected.

I wanted to like these as others have mentioned they have a super bright, thin, on/off switch, all good but the issue is THEY GET SUPER HOT!! I 'm not sure these are safe especially depending on where they are installed and how long they are on. I literally burnt my fingertips touching one after it was on for about 2 hours. LEDs should be cool they shouldn’t feel like a space heater. The other issue for me was they created faint but noticeable yellow lines on the counter top - I installed under a cabinet (only about 2 feet between) see the PICs. Depending on where you install they might be fine - just know the issues before you purchase. I was going to return but decided to try/test them a little longer, besides, winter is coming. I'll update in a month or so IF there are any issues.
