More awareness needs to occur w/regard to Transdermal Magnesium. I've seen MDs books. I've read the results of a study over its use on a government website. It's actually closer to 75% of the population that is Magnesium deficient. This is nothing new. Its benefits are too important to overlook. I didn't anticipate that I'd be commenting on this product so soon. I expected that I'd have to use this application for quite some time prior to seeing results. I just received this a number of days, ago. Wow. Results. No miracle, I have to apply several times a day (small amounts). I have psoriatic arthritis which is so very painful. Had initial breakout 24 years ago and arthritis grew progressively worse. I've had no choice but to go off of my biologic. I've used every supplement and item out there for years, tried everything. This has helped to alleviate a lot of crippling pain and almost right away. I'm a skeptic but I cannot deny the effectiveness of this item. Also helps my muscle cramps. Assists with insomnia. I've read a prior concern and saw that an individual has expressed that you should watch how much you use to avoid "over-dose". Well, according to research, we simply cannot over-absorb transdermally. I mean, sure, you want to be cautious over anything (and over-the-counter) you use that claims to help a particular health condition. Don't care about the drying surface, can be removed. If you are one to suffer from psoriatic flare-ups with arthritis, keep in mind that any abrasion on the skin will be irritated by the "salt." You might want to add Glucosamine/Chondroitin/higher concentration of MSM supplement to this (oral, over the counter). Hope it continues to work. May not for you, but this isn't some psychological dependence going on. It is just this, over-the-counter Transdermal supplement.

My shoulders & neck had been tight & sore for several months. I assumed just from the way I lie in bed watching tv. Not really sure what caused it, it wasn’t from an injury. I used the gel at bedtime for a few weeks, not even every single night, and the pain & tightness has been completely gone for a few months. And I didn’t change any of my bad habits, nor is my anxiety or stress any better, so it had to be the magnesium.

If I don’t use this daily, I will get the most horrendous calf and foot/toe cramps (during my third trimester in pregnancy when baby takes it all!). It’s a lifesaver.My only dislike of this product is that it’s a bit harsh and very itchy on my skin but I feel that’s the nature of it and I won’t stop using it because of it

I thought I would try this brand to help ease my lRestless Leg Symptoms. It definitely helps . I rub it on my legs after a warm shower and just before bed. I find when I use it I can sleep better. The only downside for me is that it’s not a gel—it’s an ointment. It does not contain a fragrance but it is quite oily. It’s more of a salve than a gel so if you don’t mind an oil base that doesn’t absorb immediately like a gel it shouldn’t be an issue.

WOW!! This stuff is horrible. It burns as if you put acid on your skin. Unfortunately it looks like I can’t return it. Now I’m out of $28. Won’t be purchasing anything else from this company.

Side effect- itchy first 5 minutes after apply

I have been using this for years. Very high quality product. First time ordering from Amazon. Usually get it directly through the company on a "perscription" from a doctor, which is the only way to get it from them directly. I hope this is the actual product.Assuming it is, and it is like every other bottle I have had- I highly recommend for muscle pain/tightness, including plantar faciitis, helps with sleep for those who need the help because of magnesium deficiency.Gel goes on THICK. So only a small amount is required. It is "salty", so do yourself a favor and do not put this on recently shaved skin! Wait a day or TWO, depending on how skillful you are with a razor. Be careful not to put it on cuts. It will sting like a M@$#^^%$%. The gel stays on for half an hour. If it feels like something is on my skin for half of an hour, because there is something there, I can live with it. I distract myself in some way and the half hour is up. I wash it off using a clean washcloth and I reap cumulative and continual benefits. It's a huge win-win.Check carefully if you need to use moisturizer (I use coconut/sesame/olive oil) afterwards. It can be SUPER drying to the skin.
