Flimsy, dangerous, and arrived broken
I was very hopeful about this product, as it appeared to save me hundreds of dollars over the top of the line versions. But you get what you pay for. It is extremely heavy and unwieldy, even before you assemble it. The metal is flimsy and easily bent, which is probably why it was dented and warped when I got it. I didn’t see the dents until I was trying to fit two pieces together. The slot into which the bottom panel must fit precisely was crimped together from some kind of impact. With that and the general weakness of the structure, fitting pieces together was impossible. Add to that the extremely sharp ends of the metal side bars and frame corners, and this is a DANGEROUS item to put together. I came away with only a small scratch because I stopped trying. I knew if I wrangled with it much longer I risked a much more serious cut. Junk. Don’t bother.Update: I attempted to return the crate. You have to send it back on your own dime, but the Post Office wouldn't take it because it was too big and too heavy. I then took it to UPS, where they wanted to charge me $167 to return it, when I only paid $145 for the crate!! Instead, I contacted Amazon to see if they could help. They have contacted the third-party seller to see if they will offer a pick-up of the item. Time will tell. This item is just not worth the effort. Almost everyone who reviewed it says it arrived damaged and/or that the parts are sharp. Save yourself the effort and the money!

Best Dog Kennel for a Vehicle
We bought this Kennel for my new Yukon so the dogs would be in one area and safe. They love it and we love it too. They can see us from the back cargo area and have plenty of room without getting hair all over the vehicle. When I am driving the dogs always are nudging me to pet them and it can make driving dangerous at times so now this will not happen anymore. Highly Recommend.

CRAP
The media could not be loaded. Do not buy this.. this is such a terrible waste of time and money.. waited for it to come in for a trip and literally can’t even get it together due to damage. The box was fine so no clue WHEN it was damaged. The materials are crap and flimsy. The bottom is a cheap “wood” flap that dogs will immediately scratch up/through. DON’T BUY.

Do not buy.
From the photos and description I thought it could be used in a truck...NOPE!!! It is weak and I don't think it can hold up in an SUV. It is very flimsy. And the "wood" is paper wood. Not string at all.

Not a bad crate
Not a bad crate assembly takes a little to tackle, But it wasn't too bad. I use it for two German shot hairs, they are on the small side for the breed. If your dog is bigger I would only plan on one dog at a time

You need another person to assemble
The instructions are awful. Only photos. No indication that the plywood needs to go into slots. The pilot holes don't match up. The top needs to be pulled together to line up the holes and that still isn't accurate. The floor part doesn't slide into the area its supposed to and I can't get the top to slide into place. This was designed by someone who is either very tall or who had help. A short woman alone can't do it. I've cursed so much and so loud, cut myself, and am dripping in sweat and it is still not together. It's a simple idea that is very poorly executed. Currently it is still not assembled. I have no idea how it performs and I am not sure I ever will.

Some parts are sharp and required padding
I like this travel cage. My main issue is that the ends of the top part of the sides do not fit snug into the back and front. Without adding padding they are very sharp and could cause serious injury to ears or noses or tails. I added some athletic tape to the ends to cover the sharp parts. This also will prevent rattling. Since the edges don’t fit snugly they also made a lot of noise before I added the padding.
