Works great Crystal clear.
Finally I can see Tricom very clearly with my eye. Just wish I could get videos of it, but this thing works very nice. Try comes come out nice and clear delights zoom in exactly where you need to. Comes in a little bag in a box with the battery already in it and you could put it on a string around your neck if you wanted to it has an adapter for a small wire or small thread to hang it up.

An inexpensive loupe that works well
I bought this loupe specifically for inspecting the blade edges on my kitchen knives to help optimize my sharpening procedures. Both magnifications of the loupe work very well and having the internal LED lighting is convenient. Contrary to some of the reviews I saw here, the lighting was well aligned with the optics. There is a switch to change which LED is illuminating the field of view depending on whether one is using the 30X or 60X loupe -- and so if the wrong LED is chosen, then of course the lighting will not be aligned properly. (One minor complaint-- since the switch is right next to the LEDs one ends up looking at the LEDs when they are first switched on or when one shuts them off. They are so bright it is a bit blinding. One potential design improvement would be to put the switch on the top or on the side.).Also contrary to one of the reviews I saw, the loupe does not have to be place directly on the object. For the 60X loupe, I find that the optics are in focus with the bottom of the loupe about 5 mm away from the object; for the 30X loupe, it is focus with the bottom at about 10 mm from the object.Image quality is quite good for the 30X loupe the image is sharp over most of the field of view. On the 60X loupe the image is sharp for the center for about 50% of the field of view, but then degrades near the edges. For me, that is ok, since I really only needed the 30X loupe and even with its more limited field I think the 60X loupe will still come in handy. In short, nice quality for the inexpensive price giving a good, functional loupe for those occasional household tasks that require zooming in for a hig

Great For Authenticating Trading Cards
I bought this for authenticating high value vintage MTG cards in public venues like game shops and conventions, and it works great. You can clearly see the printing dot pattern using the higher magnification lens. It also comes with a drawstring bag, so you can carry it in your pocket without having to worry about the lens getting dirty, and a cleaning cloth so you can wipe it clean if you do get something on the lens. All in all, a pretty good tool that I'll be bringing with me on every hobby outing from now on.

Too cheap to bother returning.
Decent illuminated 30X, but don’t even think about using the 60X! That image is upside down and backwards, if you can even locate it with the optic!! I figured I’d give a jewelers loop a try to read tiny numbers on eyewear. But despite working under a 24X magnifying microscope for my entire medical career, this simply is ridiculous. Frankly, I doubt there are better, but I’d like to know of some. My near vision is excellent, so that ain’t the problem! ✅💯

Great purchase
Love the illumination feature. It really lets you see the detail in the item you're inspecting. I personally use this to pre-grade trading cards and it does well. Very nice quality. I bought this a year ago and haven't had to replace the batteries for the light yet. Love the design as well. Also comes with a handy holder

Essential tool for identifying hallmarks
The media could not be loaded. My third time ordering this product – only because the battery died and the light started dimming. I’m about to buy another two or three just in case the price goes up soon! These were 999 when I bought them, and I believe at one point I saw ideal for two for this same price. I always get the black version as I’ve been advised not to use a loupe with white casing for some reason. This is one of my most essential cheap identification tools for fine jewelry that I buy and resell. It’s extremely helpful in finding tiny makers marks and gold purity marks and other indications of value in antique vintage jewelry. Lightweight, comes in a nice little pouch, ideal size, and focuses well. It’s just a nice quality design at a really good price – it does the job and one day I may move onto a more professional grade method of magnification.
